Story
Hi! I’m Mercer!Hi there! My name is Mercer, and I’m a 5–6 month old Catahoula mix. I might be small, but I’m full of energy! I LOVE to play—especially with other dogs in a group. My absolute favorite thing in the whole world is my squeaky toys. Honestly, if you have one, I might never let it go!I’ve been at BSAS for over 2 months now, and I’m ready to find my forever family. I’m fully vetted, healthy, and ready to be the best puppy you could ever dream of. I’m funny, playful, and I promise I’ll keep you smiling every day. I just need a home where I can run, play, and grow up surrounded by love. Please don’t let me grow up here—I’m ready for a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. My adoption fee is $70, and I can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Help Jackson check off his ultimate bucket list item by giving him an A+ life with space to safely explore, run, and be his adventurous, happy self. Jackson is a sweet, loving, and handsome boy believed to be a Catahoula/Mountain Cur mix, approximately 8–9 years old. He was rescued five years ago and, at that time, was heartworm positive. He has since completed treatment, is fully healed, and up to date on vaccinations. Jackson is an exemplary housemate, calm, respectful, and happy to greet you each day. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and he keeps the home happily chew-free. He adores people and gets along very well with humans of all ages. He appears to do well with cats. When it comes to wildlife, however, Jackson takes his job seriously. If you need squirrels caught, or at least strongly discouraged, Jackson is your guy. His strong chase instincts and impressive athletic speed can come into play, so he would thrive best in a home that understand working dogs.
