Story
Brady (from the bunch...if ya know ya know!) is looking for his PAWfect FURever home! Just in from Brady: "Does anyone want to guess what I asked Santa for? I was supposed to ask for a home and I did but I added a subscrit to the sausage of the month club, a new yellow ball and also some slippers for Foster Mom. I am a 5 month old, male, white pointer /pit mix puppy. The humans call me Brady. I was named after Tom Brady because my Foster family says I am a champion. I love to fetch a ball. But not the football kind, the tennis kind. I tolerate cats and get along well with other dogs. I walk on a leash. I am crate trained and working on potty training. I am a very cool looking guy with the most beautiful light blue eyes. My fur is all white, except for the black spot above my tail. It looks as if someone accidentally dropped their ink pen there. I am excellent with kids and adults alike. I went to see Santa and did great with everyone there including Santa, despite him not smelling like sugar cookies as expected. Gonna be honest, it was a good try with the beard and red suit, but I don’t think that was the real Santa. So I’ll need your help in finding a home instead." About Brady: Brady is a 5 month old male, pointer/pittie mix. His name reflects his personality. From his foster Mom: We seem him as a champion: good with people, likeable, sociable and oh-so-good looking!! Just like his namesake. Brady is all white with the cutest little spot on his hind end. He has incredible frosty blue eyes! Brady is crate trained, walks well on a leash each morning, enjoys a good game of fetching a tennis balls and as toe be expected for a pup of his age, has lots of good energy! Brady is highly motivated by treats and food. He gets along really well with the 11 year old foster resident dog and his 3 resident foster cats! He's almost fully potty trained! Brady will do great with another dog in the house. He loves too run and play with his current neighbor dogs too! Life for Brady started out quite ruff. Brady was found by a partner of our rescue with his 7 siblings and Mom in a back yard in Texas. One sibling puppy had already passed away after getting into rat poisoning while looking for food and the father dog was mauled to death by a nearby pack of dogs. Although our rescue was already full, we couldn't say no to this sweet family. Pups were pulled one-by-one as foster homes opened up and eventually, we were able to save the entire family. The pups were young enough to be receptive to our help and are just blossoming in their foster homes! Mom was a pointer mix and Dad was a pittie mix. Brady is 5 months old and weighs ~40 lbs. Brady has not been around small children yet however Brady has not shown us any signs he wouldn't do well with children who are respectful of dogs! Sweet Brady is currently blossoming in his current foster home in San Antonio Texas but is ready to travel to the PNW (transportation costs are covered in his adoption fee). Brady's adoption fee is $550 and includes out of state transportation, vaccinations, neuter and microchip. 100% of the adoption fee goes to Brady's care. Meet Loki, the gentlest soon-to-be-giant (we estimate somewhere in the 70-lb range, when full grown). Ok, so not THAT giant. More like a perfect big boy to keep you warm this winter! Also an expert at tetherball...check out the YouTube link! Loki is a 5-month-old snuggly, spunky happy boy with a sweet demeanor. He has a gentle, quiet demeanor while still being playful. Loki walks very well on a leash and is excited explore the outside world now that he has had all of his vetting. Loki loves car rides. Loki warms up fast to strangers. Loki was one of 7 puppies rescued from a bad situation (read more below) and Loki is the gentlest of them all! Loki is crate trained and sleeps all night with no accidents. House training is coming along great! Loki is very likeable with other dogs and is currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs where he is already a class favorite! Loki's big ears remind us of a pointer (Mom was definitely a pointer mix) but it's clear he is a classic Heinz 57...a little bit of everything! Loki is 5 months old and weighs ~40 lbs. Loki has not been around small children yet however Loki has not shown us any signs he wouldn't do well with children who are respectful of dogs! History: Life for Loki started out quite ruff. What my friends at Seattle Humane say about me: · I am the best of both worlds! I love cuddling up in a chair next to my person or zooming around the yard in full play mode.· I love getting out into nature where its quiet and I can be alone with my own thoughts.· I prefer not to live with the feline kind. Or maybe they prefer not to live with me!· I have been working on self-improvement where my manners are concerned.· I still have some puppy energy! I could use some ongoing training to help me grow into the best dog I can be.Did you know that Seattle Humane has Puppy and Dog training classes? Learn more on our website!

Story
Name: Emma Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black and White Spotty Weight: 46 LB (21kg) Hello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. On the spot of meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. :D If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9llIlTwDg6Q&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzewDjO_YZjw6S8DZTZAgbu ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Story
Name: Hwee-In Age: 2 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer mix Color: Beige and white spotty Weight: 48lb (22kg) My name is Hwee-In, and I'm a vibrant 2-year-old pointer mix girl with a heart as big as my smile. My journey began in a mysterious way—I was abandoned on a farm with my mum, but luck smiled upon us when a kind chairman rescued us. Now, I'm on the lookout for my forever home, and I think that home might just be yours! ✨ About Me: I'm not just your average dog; I'm a bundle of joy with a wagging tail that's always ready to welcome you home. Shyness? That's not in my vocabulary. The moment you reach out to pet me, I'm on my back, ready for those delightful belly rubs. Just a heads up, though—I'm not lightweight, but that just means there's more of me to love! Social Butterfly: My sunny personality extends to my fellow furry friends. Despite my hearty appetite, I'm no food guarder. Sharing is caring, and I'm a reliable companion who values friendship over a full bowl. Active Lifestyle: If you're into outdoor adventures and staying active, we're a perfect match! I have the energy of a thousand suns and need to burn it off with some outdoor playtime. Leash walking and car rides might be a bit tricky for me now, but with a little training and patience, I'll catch up! Ready for Love: I'm not just saying this - check out my video on YouTube! I'm an absolute sweetheart who's just waiting for the right person to share all my love and joy with. I'm ready to be your loyal companion, your confidante, and your source of endless happiness. Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
