Story
Animal Profile: Daniella is an estimated 10-month-old 45 lb spayed female Pointer mix. She was confiscated from a homeless encampment in southern California and taken into a boarding facility sponsored by a vet clinic, along with several other dogs. There she was assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. More info to come as we get to know her in foster care.  Foster Update: Daniella is a a gal with brains and beauty! She is super smart and treat motivated and has so much potential. She's doing great with the resident dogs and plays really well with them. She loves curling up in any humans lap and napping on them. She would love another dog in her forever home. She does well with verbal corrections (like when she tries to steal shoe-- such a puppy!) and she is quickly picking up on sit and lay down. She is doing fine with potty training and is not especially vocal.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was rescued in southern California as a stray. She will be arriving to Seattle area on Nov 9 via START rescue transport and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.November 29, 2023, 11:39 am

Story
Animal Profile: Petal is an estimated 16-month-old, 32 lb female Pointer mix. Her previous shelter described her as friendly and energetic with a tail that never stops wagging. Her play style is very exuberant, so she's best paired with other large, fast dogs. Because she's likely to knock them over, she needs a household without small children. An active family who can go, go, go and continue her training would be perfect. Foster Update: Petal is settling in well and is a happy-go-lucky girl! She loves everyone she meets and is a social butterfly. She does well with the resident dog and cat! Petal is fairly energetic, but she does love to snuggle and relax. She is athletic with a medium energy level and would do well with an active family. Petal is good in her crate and can be left alone for a few hours without complaint, she is not particularly vocal. She has good leash manners on a prong with good leadership. She enjoys going for drives and looking out the window. She would love a home with another dog companion with whom she could run about in the yard. She knows how to sit and we are working on recall. Petal has gorgeous coloring and eyes and a personality to match. She is sooo sweet and sociable and would make a great addition to almost any household! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, deworming, microchip and registration, and vet exam.  Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Petal was found as a stray and rescued from the Country of Hawaii Animal Control & Protection Agency.  She arrives in Seattle on Oct. 24, 2023.November 29, 2023, 11:39 am

Story
My name is Narin, and I'm a 1-year and 5-month-old English Black Pointer girl. I have a real soft spot for humans – once I get to know you, I'll be showing off my adorable belly and showering you with all the love and cuddles you could ever dream of. I thrive on affection and sometimes, I can get a little jealous when I see others getting attention. I get along well with other dogs. Although, I must confess, when it comes to food, I can be a bit protective. If you leave a tasty treat lying around, you might hear a little growl from me as I make sure it's safe. But don't worry, I'm working on my table manners. Right now, I'm staying in a foster home, and I've been on my best behavior around the other pups here. My foster parents say I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. Being a Pointer, I've got some quirks that come with the territory. I might let out a howl from time to time, and I've got some impressive speed when I'm on the move. That's why I think I'd thrive in a home with active, young individuals who are ready for adventures. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzEcFIh0FJBMOlIJRUtlXdm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR SWEET JUNIPER! Juniper is a 10 month old, ~25lb Pointer/Doberman mix who is looking for her forever home! Juniper is a super loving, sweet and spunky girl. She can be nervous is some new situations so will do great with a family that can help her build confidence and continue basic obedience. She does much better with other dogs around and is looking for a forever home with another doggie companion. She would likely be great with kids over 8, she can be jumpy right now so we are recommending no small children. Juniper is so loving and will make her forever family very happy! She is up to date on shots, microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.
