Story
My name is Gorda. I was adopted from the Humane Society shelter when I was only 2yrs old. I’m 7yrs old now, and I’m a bit socially anxious with other animals so I never had any fur brothers or sisters but I love people! Kids under the age of 10 make me nervous but I’m super friendly other wise. I have a bit of itchy skin due to some slight skin allergies, but I’ve been going to the vet to get treatment. I don’t chew on furniture, or bark unnecessarily and am well potty trained. I learned to walk without tugging, but I love to play tug a war and fetch even at 7 years old and tend to get the zoomies when I’m excited. I LOVE belly rubs and sleeping next to my special person. I eat dry kibble that helps support my sensitive stomach and skin. I love the outdoors but I can be an inside dog as well and a quick learner. I hope I can find my forever home soon.💜

MY MAMA HAS STAGE 4 CANCER AND I NEED A NEW HOME OR FOSTER BY MAY 1st! PLEASE HELP! Im very low maintenance and Im a very good girl and would love to love you! I enjoy cuddling and of course, treats! I have a brother, Bubba, who can come with me if you want him too but isn't a requirement. I wasnt socialized as a cute little puppy so i need to be the only dog in the house or with my brother. Please help my mama have some peace of mind during this difficult time.

Story
Lucy is a 45-pound mixed-breed dog who will be turning 7 years old soon. We adopted her from the San Diego Humane Society about 1.5 years ago. Shortly after adopting her, we discovered she had glaucoma and was already blind in one eye. To keep her comfortable and pain-free, she underwent surgery to remove the affected eye. Lucy has adapted incredibly well and lives a happy, normal life as a one-eyed dog. She is one of the calmest, sweetest, and most affectionate dogs we have ever met. She loves being around her people and is content simply relaxing with the family. One of Lucy’s most special qualities is her gentle temperament. We have been raising a baby around her, and she has been wonderful throughout the entire process—patient, calm, and loving. She has never let her vision loss affect her happy personality or her ability to be a great companion. Making the decision to rehome Lucy has been incredibly difficult. Oliver is the sweetest boy with lots of love to give. He is always happy and stays close to his owner, and is happiest on walks or sitting in a lap. Oliver is young, about one year old, and he gets along great with our cats and our kids. We take him to dog beach often and he loves to make new friends. Unfortunately, our family dog does not like Oliver and we need to put this loving boy in a better circumstance. Oliver is fully house broken. He still has some work to do in his training, including recall, but he’s eager to please and learn. We have had Oliver for about two months and he is up to date on shots. He has long wiry hair, although we’ve had him groomed and keep it short for summer.

Luna is 8yrs old still acts like a puppy is food motivated. She was adopted in Guam as a puppy I’ve had her since. She’s a good guard dog especially in the yard she’s loving and playful. She does pretty well with other dogs, she’s great with kids.

Hazel I got when I was stationed in Guam. She was found on the side of the road as a puppy, she’s a silly loving dog. She’s about 8yrs old will be 9 in December.She’s a sweet loving girl, loves to play with plush toys and tug of war. Loves the beach and hiking, was create trained as a puppy but hasn’t been in a create since, she’s good around kids, but does get nervous when they’re jumping and running too close to her.
