Story
Brandy is a sweet and cuddly spayed female mutt that we adopted 6.5 years ago. She is 8 years old now, and a small/medium size at 20 pounds. We have loved her and she has loved us but our home is no longer a suitable place for her now that we have a small child who makes her nervous. She is a low maintenance dog who is healthy, house trained, loves pets and walks, and sleeps most of the day, but she does have anxiety and barks nervously around new people and new dogs (but has done well in boarding/doggy daycare situations). She cannot live with small children or cats. We are heartbroken that after a year, Brandy still has not taken to our baby. We are looking to find her a home where she will be loved, safe, comfortable, and happy.

Story
Yogi Bear is a very sweet but shy boy. Loves to love and loves to roam and run. A little timid at first but once he feels safe, he won’t leave you alone. Knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, no. Not great on a leash (ranch dog so he was free to run on acres of land). Good at protecting live stock. Best fit would be on a ranch or somewhere with land. Amazing with kids and good with other dogs and cats once he is introduced. In the process of getting him up to date on shots and fixed. He is a lover, such a sweet boy. Quick learner just like his sister (leelou). He isn’t house trained but is good motivated and a good listener.

Story
Leelou is a funny goofy loving girl. Likes to be in charge but also just as loving if not more. Good listener and knows basic commands like sit, stay, down and no. Ranch dog so would be a perfect fit for someone with land and or animals to protect. Outdoor dog so not house trained. But she is a quick learner, so it wouldn’t take long to break that. She loves kids, good with cats and other dogs once she is introduced and gets to know them. She is a great dog and I wish I could keep her and her brother (yogi bear). She loves to love and will be your best friend

Story
Meet Lady: a beautiful two-year-old soul with a resilient spirit. Lady wound up at her town's local animal shelter not once, not twice, but three times throughout her short little life. With each shelter stay, Lady's fate hung in the balance, her future uncertain. But five minutes before the world went dark for her, fate intervened! Lady's story is one of perseverance, a testament to the indomitable spirit that resides in rescue dogs. With each return to the shelter, Lady clung to the hope that one day, her forever family would come for her. But time stretched on, and as she watched her kennel companions find their homes, Lady's hope began to waver. She wondered if her family would ever come; if the love she longed to give would forever remain unclaimed. From Lady's perspective, the days blurred together, a montage of waiting and wondering. She yearned for the gentle touch of a hand, the warmth of a loving gaze, and the sound of a family's laughter. No matter how much doubt crept into her heart, she clung to the belief that somewhere out there, her family existed. She held onto that glimmer of hope, the flicker of a dream that refused to be extinguished. And then, in June of 2022, Lady's life took a turn for the better. "The Pitty Committee" whisked her away from the shelter, ensuring that she would never face the threat of euthanasia again. From that moment on, Lady found herself in the serene atmosphere of South Lake Tahoe, where she has flourished under the loving care of her wonderful Foster Mama, Hailey! But, although Lady is safe from a dreaded shelter environment, her journey remains incomplete. She still waits for her forever family to find her.

Lady is more than just a dog; she's a lake-loving adventurer, a spirited soul who thrives on the joys of nature. She yearns for an active family, who will embrace her love for swimming, running, and frolicking in the sun and snow. Lady's heart knows no bounds when it comes to people of all ages. She adores children, and her boundless energy makes her the perfect playmate. She's a fetch aficionado, and her dock-jumping skills are nothing short of astounding. But what sets Lady apart is her unwavering loyalty, her eagerness to please, and her ability to melt your heart with a single glance. This beautiful girl has come a long way since leaving the shelter. She's crate trained, muzzle trained, and she listens to commands with a heart full of eagerness to please. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to the power of love and resilience. A promise of boundless joy to the family that opens their heart to her. Don't let Lady's story remain incomplete. She's been waiting and hoping for quite some time; she deserves a forever family to call her own. We ask that you consider Lady as the missing piece in your life, the companion who will make every moment brighter, and the love that will fill your heart. Complete your life with a furry friend who knows the true meaning of hope, love, and the promise of a forever home. Lady is waiting, and her love is worth the journey. Don't let her wait any longer; make her a part of your family, and create a story of love and happiness that will last a lifetime. Adopt Lady, and change both your lives forever ♥

Story
Haylee is around 12 years old. She has become too much for us with two kids one an infant. We don't have time to get her out and enjoy the world. She needs a home where she can run and play. It's just something we aren't able to give her. Would like her last years in a loving home with someone to give her the attention she needs.
