Story
Meet Scarlet! Scarlet is a loving, affectionate 4-year-old dog who absolutely adores cuddling with her people—especially when belly rubs are involved! She thrives on companionship and enjoys being outdoors, making her a great match for an active family. She is fully house-trained and hasn’t had a potty accident in years. Like many curious pups, she once enjoyed sneaking into the trash when left unattended, but a simple baby safety lock solved that completely. Scarlet has grown up with two young children and is very comfortable around them. She’s naturally protective and deeply bonded to her family. While she’s never lived with other dogs, she does well at the dog park. She would do best in a home with plenty of yard space and preferably no other pets. Scarlet is looking for an active, loving family who can give her the exercise she needs—and plenty of cuddles, too. She has so much love to give and can’t wait to share it with her forever home.

Story
Meet Lady: a beautiful two-year-old soul with a resilient spirit. Lady wound up at her town's local animal shelter not once, not twice, but three times throughout her short little life. With each shelter stay, Lady's fate hung in the balance, her future uncertain. But five minutes before the world went dark for her, fate intervened! Lady's story is one of perseverance, a testament to the indomitable spirit that resides in rescue dogs. With each return to the shelter, Lady clung to the hope that one day, her forever family would come for her. But time stretched on, and as she watched her kennel companions find their homes, Lady's hope began to waver. She wondered if her family would ever come; if the love she longed to give would forever remain unclaimed. From Lady's perspective, the days blurred together, a montage of waiting and wondering. She yearned for the gentle touch of a hand, the warmth of a loving gaze, and the sound of a family's laughter. No matter how much doubt crept into her heart, she clung to the belief that somewhere out there, her family existed. She held onto that glimmer of hope, the flicker of a dream that refused to be extinguished. And then, in June of 2022, Lady's life took a turn for the better. "The Pitty Committee" whisked her away from the shelter, ensuring that she would never face the threat of euthanasia again. From that moment on, Lady found herself in the serene atmosphere of South Lake Tahoe, where she has flourished under the loving care of her wonderful Foster Mama, Hailey! But, although Lady is safe from a dreaded shelter environment, her journey remains incomplete. She still waits for her forever family to find her.

Lady is more than just a dog; she's a lake-loving adventurer, a spirited soul who thrives on the joys of nature. She yearns for an active family, who will embrace her love for swimming, running, and frolicking in the sun and snow. Lady's heart knows no bounds when it comes to people of all ages. She adores children, and her boundless energy makes her the perfect playmate. She's a fetch aficionado, and her dock-jumping skills are nothing short of astounding. But what sets Lady apart is her unwavering loyalty, her eagerness to please, and her ability to melt your heart with a single glance. This beautiful girl has come a long way since leaving the shelter. She's crate trained, muzzle trained, and she listens to commands with a heart full of eagerness to please. She's not just a dog; she's a testament to the power of love and resilience. A promise of boundless joy to the family that opens their heart to her. Don't let Lady's story remain incomplete. She's been waiting and hoping for quite some time; she deserves a forever family to call her own. We ask that you consider Lady as the missing piece in your life, the companion who will make every moment brighter, and the love that will fill your heart. Complete your life with a furry friend who knows the true meaning of hope, love, and the promise of a forever home. Lady is waiting, and her love is worth the journey. Don't let her wait any longer; make her a part of your family, and create a story of love and happiness that will last a lifetime. Adopt Lady, and change both your lives forever! ♥

Story
Cowboy had a fragile start. He was found lying in the dirt with his umbilical cord still attached, and it was assumed his mother had rejected him, so he was adopted out at just one day old. Neonates require feeding every two hours, but Cowboy received inconsistent care and his health began to decline. When Ava, his mother, and the rest of his family came into our care, the finder asked if we could take Cowboy also-of course we said yes. He was just one-fifth the size of his siblings and got plenty of solo time at the milk bar. He soon caught up and is now healthy and thriving. Cowboy has the softest energy of all the pups. Introverted, gentle, and observant, he is not a social butterfly; but with those he knows and trusts, his playful, goofy side shines. He has been bounced around too much in his short life and deeply craves safety and stability. Cowboy deserves a calm, steady home where he can finally feel safe. Any family would be so very lucky to have him. This boy has my heart.
