My name is tater and I just showed up at my owners house about a month and a half ago. They tried to find my owners but no one came to look for me. I would like to go to a home where I can lay around and sleep and get plenty of butt scratches. I have a little bit of an allergy issue but I eat a turkey and venison kibble with fish oil and get baths when my coat gets dirty on my skin and my fur has grown back and I have even lost weight. I love to talk and use my voice when I am excited and I LOOOOOOOVE bacon treats(especially when you cut my nails!!) I do good with other dogs but I prefer to be the only male. I’m a little shy with big male dogs. I go potty right away and I’m NOT a huge walker. I will try to go on a run if you let me off leash (ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE) I hope I can find my forever home and someone to love and take care of me for years to come!!!

Hestia is looking for her Forever home before she is taken to the shelter this evening. Hi! My name is Hestia, I was originally pulled from the euthanasia list from Mecklenburg County Animal Care 2 years ago, where the had named me Flap jack. I am 3 years old. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I need a new home or foster until I find a furever home. I have until this evening before I am taken to the pound and I am terrified of getting back on the euthanasia list because I have so much love to give. I get along with other dogs, haven’t been around cats much other than feral ones and I just like chasing them. I am fixed, crate trained, leash trained, and potty trained. All I need is a family that would give me a chance. I am the most loving baby and love snuggles and kisses. This is Gibby! Gibby is a young (roughly 1 year old) stray who I found in a construction site after he was hit by a car. He had to have FHO surgery on his back leg due to injuries, but he has not let it slow him down. Unfortunately, I already have many of my own animals, and he needs a lot of exercise, continued training, and love. He loves the outdoors (swimming,hiking, playing fetch) and would do very well with an experienced owner who is somewhat familiar with positive reinforcement training. He plays constantly with both the large and small dogs in my house. He likes to chase the cat around, but I’m not sure the cat is a fan. He has not yet been around children, and may do best in a home without them. Gibby is full of energy and love and is ready for a forever home to love him back!

Unfortunately when Daisy she was a puppy she was forced into dog fighting, resulting in her reactivity to other dogs (and we believe cats as well). Shes missing a piece of her ear because of it. She was rescued by a family member when she was about a year old. She did not get along with her dogs, and went to ANOTHER family member. When they were then unable to care for her during a move, we agreed to “foster her” for a short period of time until she was able to bring her home. Now almost 5 months later, the family member does not want Daisy back. We have a 3 year old autistic daughter in an apartment (we are not allowed to have her in), and I’m pregnant with my second. It’s difficult to walk her in a complex with other dogs, and it will soon be even more unsafe for me as my pregnancy goes on. She does AMAZING with my daughter, doesn’t tear anything up. She just needs a family to love her, because all she has to give is love. She’s lazy and loyal, and deserves only the best.
