Story
I adopted Poncho in Nov 2024 from my cousin when her house burned down and he needed to be immediately rehomed. Poncho is a very sweet and loving dog. He is house trained and has a great demeanor. I need to rehome him because he isn’t comfortable around small rowdy kids.

Story
This sweet girl came up on our porch. She was shy at first, but hot and thirsty. She warmed up to us quickly, and was very happy for food, water, and to come inside. She rides nicely in the car, and seems to be indifferent to our cats. She hasn't had any accidents in the house, so I think she is house trained. She is good on a leash. Unfortunately, our large pit-husky mix is being very territorial, and it is not safe to have them together. While we would love to keep her, we cannot. But we would love to find her a loving, forever home. We did take her in for her first vet's visit. According to the vet she looks healthy, is about 9 months old, and is probably a mix of pit and either catahoula or Australian shepherd. She got her vaccines, was negative for intestinal parasites, and got a 30-day dose of heartworm/flea/tick/worm prevention treatment.

Story
Halo showed up in the yard with another dog and I’d feed her but she was infested with fleas so we got that fixed and shed rubbed her skin raw on her back from the fleas so we tried to get that fixed that while searching for her parents. She’s a big girl and very smart but needs proper training and seems to be a one person kind of dog but also does well with other dogs so it seems and family members but I’m older and don’t have either. She tolerates cats but isn’t a fan and has an Alfa female temperament. Loves to walk on a leash and seems to heard the pack so to speak. She’s friendly and will make friends with all People. I cannot take care of her like she needs as she is just to big of a dog and needs to be around people all the time. Her best home would be with a family or a single person as well - she’s protective but not aggressive. Shes. She hates baths and water and her favorite thing is to run the fence line with the neighbor dogs. She’s beautiful but needs skin care.

Story
I adopted Amber from a rescue foster program 8 years ago. She's been a good and loving dog all these years. We decided to put her up for adoption following the birth of our child. She deserves more attention and to play freely but we haven't been able to give that to her with a new baby around. She's 9 years old with the energy of a younger dog. She's goofy and loves to play. Her favorite toys are tennis balls and hedgehog squeaky toys. She loves attention, is very affectionate, loves to be close, and, if you let her, loves to sleep in bed with you. She has general anxiety due to suspected abuse prior to her foster stay. She's on fluoxetine once a day to help with her anxiety and is given gabapentin for high stress situations like car rides and fireworks. She doesn't like cats or dogs as she's had too many bad encounters with other dogs which has led to her dislike of them. She would be happier/more comfortable in a quieter home with no kids or babies.

Story
She was living with my dad but he got remarried and his new wife didn’t want her. My grandma took her in but my grandma is too old to keep up with the upkeep and no one is able to come and help due to where we live/work schedule. Hershey just wants to be loved and play, she loves to run. She’s gentle with other animals and people, can be a little shy but never aggressive
