Story
Hi everyone, This is my awesome dog Noodle. She is an anxious, weird, yet lovable mush of a dog that is my best buddy. Well, this is one of the hardest things to write/ decisions that I have to make but she needs a new person to love her as much as I do or even more. Unfortunately, she is not a kid friendly dog. Is she a mean dog? Absolutely not. But she is scared of kids and not friendly with them. Over the last 4 years I’ve kept her and the kiddos separate while I’ve tried to work with her but the situation hasn’t gotten any better and isn’t fair to any of them. Noodle is stressed and I can’t have them both in a position where they are at risk for something to happen.

Story
We adopted Pablo from Tijuana, Mexico, where he and his siblings were rescued from the streets and brought to San Diego. We have since moved to Philadelphia, and our demanding careers have made it difficult to give Pablo the time he deserves. Pablo has become a wonderful dog in the seven months we’ve had him. He is intelligent, loving, crate and potty trained, and loves learning new tricks. However, he is anxious in a city environment and resource guards food and treats around unfamiliar dogs, likely stemming from his time on the streets. Despite significant training efforts, we have not been able to resolve this behavior. He has never shown this behavior toward people and gets along well with dogs he knows. Because his guarding makes boarding difficult when we travel, we are looking for a loving home that can give Pablo the time, stability, and care he deserves.

Story
Artie is a lovable, energetic and handsome black/white mix breed dog. He would be happiest in a home that has some yard to play outside, ideally with a fence. Artie's owner is looking to find him a new home because of health issues and wants to give him a better home environment.Artie lives in a small home on a busy street, and does not have regular access to secure open space. He has to be on leash when outside. Aside from loving the outdoors, he is very friendly, loves belly rubs, and giving hugs. Artie was adopted from Providence Animal Shelter at 3 mos and has been professionally trained. He is smart, learns quickly and responds to positive reinforcement. He is sweet with babies, affectionate, and used to being around other dogs. Traveling is easy because Artie does not mind car rides.Artie deserves a loving home where he can run around and play outside. He enjoys long walks in the park, and will quickly become your best friend. Owner can provide vet/trainer recommendations.

Story
Once he feels comfortable and safe, he is a very loving and fun dog. He loves sunbathing, long walks, running in the woods, playing with his toys, and finding cozy places to sleep. If he sees a blanket or pile of clothes, he’ll happily curl up on it! He does have behavioral challenges. He struggles with separation anxiety and can become destructive with his kennel or things in the home when left alone. He also dislikes loud or beeping noises. He is not a good fit for small children or crowded homes, as he can become nervous and does not like being touched by people he doesn’t know. He would do best with a patient, experienced owner who can respect his boundaries and give him time to adjust. He is a great dog with a lot of love to give, and I truly want to find him a home where he can be happy, safe and understood! This is a very difficult decision, but my life has become much busier, and I can no longer give him the time and attention he deserves.

Story
Holly is 6 years old but has the energy of a puppy. She is sweet, loving and overall an amazing dog. She was attacked by a bigger dog when she was 1.5 and has been aggressive towards other dog ever since. She needs a home that has space for her to run around, a backyard or a park for daily exercise and a home with no other dogs. Unless you are willing to do the work to train her and help resolve her aggression. She absolutely loves people, is super cuddly, and would make an awesome addition to the right family.

Story
I adopted Jax almost 7 years ago when he was 11weeks old at an adoption event. He has always been an anxious little one, but now that I am caring for him alone full time, I do not think my work schedule is working for him. I’m a Nurse practitioner with long days, and nothing that I am doing seems to be helping with his separation anxiety, and I dont want to medicate him daily, so I think he’d do better with someone who either works from Home or has a more flexible schedule than I do. This pains me to write, as he is SUCH a good, loving and obedient boy and i love him so much. He’s good with kids and isn’t around other dogs much, but has done well when he has been in the past. House trained, but the separation anxiety affects that when i’m not Home. Not at all destructive. Truly a great dog who may need more time than i have to give right now. :(
