Story
Nutty is a sweet and sensitive pup looking for a second chance at stability and love. She was adopted a few years ago by a kind senior who recently faced serious health issues and is now transitioning to assisted living. Sadly, Nutty can’t come along, and now she’s searching for a new person to call her own. True to her name, Nutty has a quirky personality and a heart full of loyalty once she feels safe. But change has been hard on her. She shows signs of anxiety and tends to get overwhelmed in chaotic or busy environments. Nutty thrives best in a calm, quiet home with a predictable routine and someone who can offer her gentle reassurance and patience. Nutty does not do well with other animals, so she’ll n so she’ll need to be the only pet in the home. But for the right person, she’ll be your loyal shadow, your gentle companion, and a quiet presence by your side. She’s already housebroken, up to date on vaccines, and just wants a cozy spot to curl up and feel loved again.

Story
Meet Bear! A almost 5 year old hound mix. He’s my big baby and it literally breaks my heart to have to rehome him. My daughter has developed a severe allergy to dogs and we have no other choice. He’s so sweet and loving and sometimes forgets he’s almost 100 pounds and wants to sit on you! He will follow you everywhere even to the bathroom! He’s crate trained and house trained and used to sleeping in bed with me. He loves car rides and walks and is good with children although he gets very excited around them and sometimes jumps on them. So he would probably do better in a home with older children. He’s good with cats and loves to play with them. I’m not sure about other dogs because he was never really around them. He will be 5 September 27th. I adopted him from a rescue when he was a puppy so we’ve had him since he was tiny!

Story
Meet Bronco🐾 Looking for a furry companion who radiates joy and brings a smile to everyone he meets? Bronco is an approximately 4 year-old mixed breed bundle of happiness weighing in at a solid 60 pounds of love, loyalty, and goofball energy! Bronco is the very definition of happy-go-lucky. Whether he's trotting around the yard with his tongue lolling out or flopping over for belly rubs, Bronco approaches life with an open heart and a wagging tail. He’s already house-trained, walks well on a leash, and is eager to please (especially if treats are involved). Bronco would thrive in a home where he can get daily walks, or yard play and lots of snuggles on the couch. He's the kind of dog who makes every day brighter, whether you're heading out on an adventure or just relaxing at home. Email Alleycatzoo@aol.com for a video

Story
URGENT NEED TO RE-HOME before 9/1. We must re-home Parker because his owner died and unfortunately we don’t have anyone that can care for him. This is very difficult as he has been a great dog. Parker is a lovable 6-year-old mutt weighing around 60 lbs, and fully up to date on all his shots and vaccines. This sweet boy is playful, affectionate, and has a special attachment to his toys; he carries them around like his babies! He also has a surprisingly refined hobby: watching TV, especially sports. Parker is both potty trained and crate trained, and he is a calm, easygoing companion who loves being around people and naps most of the day. He would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run and play! While Parker is not the most social with new dogs, he does well with the 3 other dogs he already knows, so with patience and slow introductions, he may be able to warm up to a new furry sibling. Parker is looking for a loving forever home after the heartbreaking loss of his owner.

Story
Due to divorce I have to sell out house and move into an apartment. My dog Harper recently tore her ACL and I cannot afford her surgery. The vet said she can heal on her own but surgery would be the ideal scenario. I just want her to have a loving home..she has been my best friend and is so loving.

Story
We are seeking immediate help. We are giving this sweet, 8 year old baby a home for a few nights to keep her from being put down. We cannot keep her as we do not have the room and can’t take on the extra responsibility right now. We did not want her life to end. Her owner was not able to find a rescue that was willing to take her. She is a pit mix with a history of biting one time, and left a superficial cut. Her humans had a baby that she was snapping at and they could no longer keep her. I am asking for fosters or a rescue to take a chance on her. Please. We cannot keep this dog
