Story
We are looking for a new home for Winston. He is 7 months old, he potties outside (we have a dog door) and is very sweet. Reason for a new home: We have attempted to get him used to our 4 cats however, he chases them constantly and is rough with them. His breed is unknown, but we were told he was part Shepherd mix, but the only thing remotely Shepherd is his ears! I believe that he is most likely part cattle dog and something else. Currently he weights 40lbs and I don't think he will get much larger. I think he would be better suited for a home without cats. He is very sweet and smart. He is not kennel trained, but sleeps in our kitchen at night on a pallet of blankets. I really hope I can find the right family for him. Current on all shots, neutered and walks well on a leash.

Story
Bexley weights 80-90 pounds, is generally very sweet and loving, and will nudge her nose under your arm when she wants attention. She was left with me 'temporarily' until my nephew in Utah got a living situation sorted out, but that didn't happen. Her only regular problem is food aggression. She is possessive of her food bowl and doesn't like to be disturbed at meal times. I had to be firm with her and establish dominance over her food bowl and then we got along great. Up until last week, she has been good with kids and other dogs without issue. Last week though, she attacked my smaller dog (~30 pounds) and it resulted in a significant vet bill. I wasn't home and don't know the circumstances. It could have been a food issue, a dominance issue, maybe they just got on each other's nerves. I don't know. I'm sure a household with other large dogs and a confident, knowledgeable owner will find her to be just wonderful. I don't want to put her down, I don't think she deserves that.
