I found George and his brother Romeo (I named them) in the middle of the street on Upper Lake on my way to work. Of course I couldn't leave them out there. I put them in my car and took them to Cityvet in Kingwood to get scanned for a microchip. They didn't have one. I hung posters and posted them in social media. No one ever claimed them. I've been caring for them for about 3 months now. They split their time between the garage and the backyard. Unfortunately, this arrangement will no longer be an option in the summer months. I have since taken them to the vet, all shots are up to date with paperwork. They're almost 7 months old. They're super sweet and playful. I would love to keep them, but I have 2 dogs already 1 of which is highly dog reactivate. Please, help me find these babies a loving forever home.

HELP.....update. we are no longer able to care for Winston and need to find a home Asap. He needs a large space to run and would be best suited for an active family or a farm setting. He is a good dog, but we don't have the time for him and my job is about to get very demanding with travel. He is very active and a talker!We are looking for a new home for Winston. He is 11 months old, he potties outside (we have a dog door) and is very sweet. His breed is unknown, but we were told he was part Shepherd mix, but the only thing remotely Shepherd is his ears! I believe that he is most likely part cattle dog and something else. He is very active and loves his daily walks. Currently he weights 52 lbs and I don't think he will get much larger. He is very sweet and smart. He is not kennel trained, but sleeps in our kitchen at night on a pallet of blankets. I really hope I can find the right family for him. Current on all shots, neutered and walks well on a leash.

Story
We got this sweet, happy, healthy, energetic dog from a shelter about 18 months ago. Salty is almost 2 years old. She loves her family and gives lots of kisses. She is tolerant of rough snuggles from my young kids. She is protective of her territory and her people, so she will need an owner who can help her feel calm and secure in a new place so she doesn't get aggressive with strangers. Salty is a large dog, 75 pounds, so she will do best with a family who can handle large dogs and can handle her guarding instincts. We have worked a lot with Salty to help her be responsive to owner commands, but she still needs lots of training reinforcement. She loves the outdoors and swimming! Salty would be great for an active family with enough space outside to play. We wish we could keep her, but changes in job responsibilities with more frequent travel means we don't have time to give her the happy life she deserves.

We rescued her. She came to where we were living. She is smart and loves dog treats. We are moving to a small apartment to downsize and will no longer be able to keep her. We love her and want to find her a loving home. She is smart and loving. She is nine years old. We would like her to have a home with a backyard . She needs a home wher she can stay in the house. She only goes out for restroom and doesn’t like to stay out long. She barks when ready to come back inside. Please consider adopting her she will make a good pet.

Story
Lexi was abandoned at a park when she was little. I took her on as a foster. She is spayed & up to date with all her medical care. She’s a healthy, full of energy dog. She’s a pitbull/lab mix I believe. I haven’t been able to find a forever home for her, and my dog is really not a fan of hers. She’s just too playful for my older dog. She’s house trained & very smart. She only does cuddles on her terms. With that being said, she is an anxious girl, a little skittish. We hope to find a loving and patient forever home for this beautiful girl.

I adopted Yuki through a local shelter, and she was fostered with her full litter. She is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. Yuki is about 18 months old. She has not been spade yet, and she has had one heat. I love her with all my heart, but I have to work 2 jobs to make ends meat, and it's just not fair to her, because she sits in the kennel all day. She is so affectionate and so loyal. She might need a little training , but she is such a good girl. She is house trained and kennel trained. She rarely barks. She does like to play with the cats, but they don't like to play with her, lol.

Corduroy loves to play and would do very well with a family with a backyard. He also loves his people so will love spending time with you. High-stress situations can make him nervous around men and it does take him time to warm up to them, but otherwise, he has lived with a family consisting of a man, woman, 2-year old toddler and 6-year-old dog without an issue. He loves walks, tug of war, and playing! He would do great with a family with another energetic dog or a backyard.He weighs 40 pounds and is crate and potty trained. Corduroy is 1 year and 6 months old.
