NAME: Blythe Sex: male Color/Pattern: black and white tuxedo Breed: Terrier mix Weight: ~15-20 lbs Age at intake: ~4-5 months BDAY approx: ~ Sept 11, 2024 Intake date : Jan 11, 2025 Found date: Jan 9 Coat length: very short Description BLYTHE is a sleek and shiny, black and white boo boo with Dumbo ears. He is responsive, yet quiet, only reacting when spoken to. Personality This little guy we named Blythe, was very quiet and submissive the first few days in his foster home. He gets wiggly and excited when you pay him affection. Blythe is a sweetie, submissive and obedient. He likes to hang out in his crate with the door open where he feels safe to watch from there. He became very playful once he felt more confident in his new digs after a few days. He loves going outside and doesn't mind the weather no matter what it is. He picks up on commands quickly and learns from other dogs' examples. He was already doing well with potty training and socializing within 1 week of picking him up off the street. This puppy is an easy boy who loves being loved, and is low maintenance, but high reward in reciprocating affection. Background Blythe was probably only about 4 months old when found abandoned at a long term stay hotel along 290 in Houston the 2nd week of January 2025. Management had called animal control but no one came to get him. It was cold and he was skin and bones. He was living under a staircase for 5 days where residents had given him a hotel towel to sleep on. When he heard the volunteer call to him he started wiggling excitedly and licking her hands. He was timid and resistant about being put on a leash, but then he was quiet and very good on the ride home in the truck, even when a 2nd dog was also picked up. Happy to announce that he had already filled back out 1 week later after eating well, and playing with all other foster dogs. He’s great with all people, great with other dogs, but cannot be around cats. He’s about 50lbs He loves butt scratches

Tony is about 6 years old. I adopted him from a shelter when he was approx. 1 year old and they had no history of his life. He is healthy (yearly vet check ups and all vaccines current, on heartworm/flea meds) and is affectionate and likes to be petted and sit or lay close to us. The issue is he is aggressive toward cats and I am moving soon - and there are cats in the home - so, sadly - Tony cannot go with me

Ziggy was rescued from BARC an hour before he was set to be euthanized. He is not able to find any fosters or adopters and thus may go back to BARC unless one is found urgently. He is still in baby phase so loves toys and to chew on sticks or rope!! He is very playful and likes to play at park with other dogs!!

7 going on 8, medium-small, spayed, microchipped. She’s grown up around kids and dogs and has interacted with cats—she’s curious at first but settles easily. She’s a very spoiled inside girl who loves soft blankets (one is never enough 😄) and will happily take over your couch or bed. Affectionate, gentle, and loyal. She has a herding instinct and may try to stop kids from running. She’s also afraid of fireworks and loud noises and will try to hide when scared. She has the weirdest bark, throws everyone off when she visits the dog park. She loves running hiking. Please keep her away from the swings she thinks they’re a danger and will try and get you off of them at all costs because you shouldn’t be in the sky 😂 Please message me if you can help or know a rescue . She loves running and hikes and traveling! We would normally travel for hours (24+) never took her on airplanes but car rides she loves them

Bailey is a very fluffy, soft, shy girlie. She's a perfect medium size - around 35lbs. She gets along great with other pups of all sizes and adores her canine companions- would do best in a home with another dog. She is a active pup who is as happy watching Netflix as she is going for a walk. She's great with children as well, just an easy-going dog who happens to also be super cute! She will need regular grooming every 6 weeks so please understand the expense of a dog like this. Bailey is still working on her housetraining and needs a patient family to help her learn. Bailey is located in Houston TX. There will be a video meet and greet upon approved application. Transport will be arranged at that time. Her fee is $850.
