Story

We adopted Bronson from the BARC Animal Shelter. He is approximately 3 years old and is a playful, affectionate, and energetic dog. He is potty trained, kennel trained, very obedient, and gets along great with other dogs. He is also wonderful with children, as we have children ranging in age from 5 to 14, and he has been a loving and gentle companion with them.We are looking to find him a loving new home not only due to our family’s busy schedules, but also because we currently do not have a fenced-in yard. Bronson needs to be supervised when outside or kept on a leash, as he does tend to run off if given the opportunity. We feel he would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he has plenty of space to play and exercise safely. He is a sweet, loving companion, and we hope to find a family who can give him the time, attention, and space he deserves.

Story

Marsala is from Dallas and was found as a stray. In the shelter, she was very overwhelmed and cowered in the kennel's corner. With the assistance of the shelter volunteers, Marsala came out of her shell, greets people politely, and will adore her person(s). Marsala enjoys small stuffed animals and small balls. Marsala enjoys playing catch with small stuff animals and small balls. Enjoys Benebone Durable Dog Chews and her daily walks. Marsala would thrive with other large dogs. She does not do well with small dogs. Will need slow introductions when first introduced to other dogs. She is house broken and knows how to use a doggy door. Children over the age of 12/older kids. Marsala is currently learning obedience. Is crate trained and needs a Gentle Lead for her daily walks as she tends to pull. Marsala is spayed and up to date with all vaccines, including Leptospirosis and Influenza H2N2/H3N8 and is microchip. Marsala will need support and patience in her new home.
