these are two young dogs with the requirement that they be adopted together because they are completely bonded to each other.they love to play together, sleep together, and eat together. it is amazing to watch them interact with each other. We need to rehome them because of health issues that have developed and we cannot provide the attention they need. I would hope to find a family with children because they love to play and someone who is home most of the day as that is what they are used to. They will need a fenced in yard with possible puppy wire as Winnie weighs about 10 lbs. and Nala weighs about 28 lbs. They have a dog house , toys, and beds. They like to go in and out of the house (depending on weather) and are housebroken for the most part except Winnie has occasional accidents. They are completely up to date on all shots and are spayed and in good health. They eat Science Diet dog food and I cook their wet food . w

Meet Brownie! ????Brownie is an adorable 4-year-old, 11-pound sweetheart who came to us through no fault of his own. He was originally given to a family with teenagers, but when the kids lost interest and their elderly grandmother could no longer care for him, she lovingly reached out to us for help.Brownie is as sweet as his name — gentle, loving, and happiest when he’s curled up on your lap or right by your side. It doesn’t take him long to adjust to new surroundings, and once he does, his goofy, fun-loving personality really shines through.He’s a loyal little companion with so much love to give and is ready to find his forever home where he’ll never be overlooked again. ??

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.You have to admit that his underbite is just the cutiest, I cannot help but smile while he is sitting there staring at me.  This beautiful boy is SONIC , a 3 year old, 14 pound pure breed Pekingese. SONIC was owner surrendered with his partner ANTWAN who is also posted on here and needs a home.  They do NOT need to be adopted together but each one of them would love to have a doggy playmate in the home.  Their previous owner welcomed a 2-legged human into her home and felt she did not have time to devote to the 2 dogs. He is very quiet, crate and potty trained, he rides in the car without getting sick and he walks well on a leash.  He learns quickly and adjust well to new environments.  ANTWAN is the leader and SONIC follows.   SONIC loves to cuddle with you but he takes a break to play with the other foster dog.  He is not stuck a velcro dog but he gets joy out of just being close and getting some love.  He has no agression in any area, shares his food and water bowl and toys with the other dogs.  He is good with being groomed and taking a bath and he sits still and does not complain about anything.  SONIC is laid back, quiet and easy going in any environment and very social, he meets people gladly.  He is easy to care for on a daily basis but he will need to go to the groomer every 3-4 months.  I will be trying to trim him down later today and get new pictures.     If you are interested in adopting SONIC, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.SONIC is a 3 year old, 15 pound Pekingese male who has a brother in ANTWAN, a 3 year old, 20 pound Shih Tzu.  They were owner surrendered by a lady who started a 2-legged human family and could not give these guys the time and love they deserve.  They certainly deserve a 2nd home that can offer them love. I do not have pictures of them together but included a picture of ANTWAN on here and you can look him up on our website below. SONIC is a super sweet and mellow guy, he is bonded with ANTWAN.  As I am writing this, ANTWAN actually jumped the puppy gate and upstairs with me and SONIC is downstairs barking for him to come back.  Neither of them are barkers, both are very quiet.  I am not sure I can separate them and I am evaluating them while they are in my home.  They do play with other dogs but they stick by each other.  ANTWAN is the more outgoing independent one while SONIC is more of a cuddle bug baby. Both of them crave attention and love and they are very well-mannered.  They walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick.  For the time being I would love for them to go to the same home together as the owner told me they have been together all of their lives.
