Story
Krypto is the sweetest boy! He is active and will go on jogs with you but also cuddle right up next to you on the couch. He is great with and loves other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog. He does great with kids and currently lives with 4 and 7 year old boys. We have not yet seen him around cats but we can cat test if needed. He is crate trained and house broken.  His family travels often and has decided that it would be best for Krypto to find a home where people are present more often. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, microchipped and all ready for a forever home to call his own! He does come complete with crate, leash, collar and a bag of food. If you are interested in adopting this sweet guy, please complete an online application today:  Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society DOB: 05/25/2022 Weight: 45lbsWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. Story
We recieved Kenia from my daughters old boss in 2023, he was working long hours and couldn’t care for him. He quickly became part of our family. I have special needs son who loves to play with him and lay on him and he has always been very well tempered and just goes with the flow. He is very protective of his boys and is by their side when they are home. As a single mom with a medically fragile son who’s medial needs have changed drastically over the last year, needing additional medical devices and is constantly in and out of the hospital it has impacted our ability to give Kenai the attention he deserves. He has separation anxiety and needs to have his people around. He needs an energetic family that is able to run and play with him and allow him to release all of his energy. It breaks my heart to come to the realization that we are no longer able to give him the level of care he deserves and really want to ensure we find him a forever home. 🐶💜

Story
Hey there! My name is Skyla. My owners got me as a puppy almost 10 years ago from a local breeder near Austin, TX. I am well trained; I love the outdoors, playing fetch, taking walks, chewing on elk bones, and napping. My owners are moving out of country and cannot bring me with them. I need a loving new home. I am generally very independent. I can be shy around new people, but always warm up with time. (especially if they have treats!) I am generally a quiet dog, but I will let you know if I want something to drink, eat, or need to go potty outside. Peanut butter is my favorite snack.

Jack is a sweet, smart, and loving dog. He’s great with all kids and little ones and loves the attention he gets. Unfortunately he doesn’t get the time he deserves because of our busy schedule. He needs a home where he can be loved and cuddled with and get all the attention he needs.

Story
Athena is a 100% purebred Siberian Husky with papers. She has gorgeous blue eyes and is all white except for a dot of black on her torso. She will be 3 yo in April 2024. She is very gentle with small children (under 3 yo). She has never shown any aggression towards humans and doesn't guard her food. However, she does occassionally jump on people so do not recommend her around elderly. She would love a home with other huskies or like sized playful dogs. Athena is curious and trusts anyone. She will try to escape so a secure fence is necessary. Athena is very sweet, but very strong willed. She is very playful and loves to run and play with other dogs. I do not believe she would do well with cats. Encouraging calm correction works better than stern or loud voices. She is crate trained but does experience anxiety. She does chew on dog beds, so no soft materials recommended in crate. She loves to chew on her dog bones.

Story
Our Coby is an AKC-registered Siberian Husky in color Brown/White, 3 years old. We acquired him from an AKC Husky breeder. He is a very beautiful, lovely, healthy, and gentle dog. We love Coby so much and have had many happy times. But unfortunately, currently, due to a busy schedule from the Job, we are so sad and heartbroken to decide to rehome our lovely Coby. We are now looking forward to finding a nice family to adopt our Coby who can continue to take care and love him, and have more time to spend with him.

Story
Crucial has gone through a lot in his approximately eight year old life.  He was rescued as a puppy, went through parvo, then was adopted to a family who loved him for six years.  Unfortunately, due to unforseen family circumstances, he was surrendered to an animal shelter.  Thankfully, one of our wonderful followers who helped him through parvo as a puppy recognized him and immediately called Rescue Row to see if they would consider helping him.  Rescue Row adopted him to a family, but after a year he was returned because of human allergies and his shedding.  He is great with kids, and doesn't seem to mind other dogs, but doesn't need one to be happy, either.  We would love to have him adopted into a forever home this time...is it yours?  As always, we are so thankful to Photography by Sheila for taking such awesome pictures of our dogs! Crucial was DNA tested and has a mix of 16 different breeds, including:  Siberian Husky (40%), Alaskan Malamute (16%), American Pit Bull Terrier (6%), Cane Corso (6%), Neapolitan Mastiff (6%), Boxer (4%), Chinese Shar-Pei (4%), Shetland Sheepdog (4%), Boston Terrier (2%), Chow Chow (2%), Rottweiler (2%), German Shepherd (2%), Chihuahua (2%), Cocker Spaniel (2%), Australian Cattle (1%), Akita (1%) If you would like to adopt a dog from Rescue Row please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash, check made out to Rescue Row or Zelle / Venmo): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##1303791##

Story
Juno is the most gentle husky I’ve met. She’s silly, and will absolutely lick you to death. She loves people, other cats, and other dogs. She can sometimes be a little too much when trying to play with other dogs, so a patient dog/owner would be great. She’s very easily trained and will do anything for a treat. She knows basic commands and is crate trained. She’s 7 years old, so she’s passed her puppy/teenager phase. She’s an amazing dog.

Story
Hachi was adopted as a puppy from Petland. The family dynamic has changed over the years and they feel he would be better suited with a family who is able to give him more attention than they have available.  He is housebroken and crate trained - but can be trusted to have free roam of the house. He is great with other dogs (has lived with the Kiyomi - also available for adoption through LHS - since he was a puppy). They can be adopted together or individually (they are 2 years apart in age so they are not bonded but do get along wonderfully). He loves going for walks and knows basic commands. They also do well with children.  He will be neutered on March 13. He is microchipped, current on his vaccinations and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adoption this handsome well-mannered gentleman, please complete an online application and the foster will be in touch asap: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society What is the animal's approximate date of birth?   02/10/2018 Animal's estimated weight   101 We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program.
