I need a single family home with a fenced in yard.         Hello there! I'm Rocco, a 58 lb male plott hound/staffie mix born around 12/23/2014.  I'm a very mellow/calm boy - I do still enjoy walks and playtime though -  who would make a GREAT family dog. I love the car and to be with my humans and out and about.   Suggles and cuddles are also favorites of mine. There's nothing really bad to say about me (if I do say so myself), so add me to your home now! ##1293161##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Introducing the lovely Mami! This 2-year-old female Plott Hound mix is an absolute sweetheart. Calm, gentle, and oh-so-friendly, she'll melt your heart with her charm. Mami is an independent soul, but she adores attention when it's offered. You'll find her happily chilling in the yard, occasionally zooming around to show off her playful side. She's a true social butterfly and gets along great with other dogs, staying calm and composed even during walks when others might bark. She's a quick learner, already mastering commands like "sit" and learning to go up stairs with ease. Mami is fully house trained and crate trained, though she'd prefer not to use the crate if given a choice. You can trust her outside the crate, as she's well-behaved and trustworthy. She's still exploring the world of toys and motion, but she's eager to learn and adapt. Mami is a gentle soul, taking treats with utmost care and showing genuine curiosity towards cats, wagging her tail as she investigates. Mami and her pup made a long journey from Texas to start a better life, and now they seek a loving family to shower them with affection and care. If you're ready to give Mami the loving home she deserves, don't hesitate! She's up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Apply today and make Mami's dreams of a forever family come true! Story
Sweet and playful Estrella is eager to love and be loved. She is  especially fond of going for walks and is eager to show you how well she walks in heel. She is mostly house trained and after a minute or two will settle down nicely for a nap in her crate when left alone. Motivated by food and love, she accepts treats gently and knows all of her commands such as "come", "sit", "down", "place", "stay", "no", and "off". Estrella is quite the weekend warrior, going for long summer hikes, but is equally happy to curl up on her person's lap and cuddle while they read a book or watch TV together. She is up for almost anything as long as she gets to be with her human. Estrella has so much love to give that she needs to be the only pup and would do best without any other furry companions. She's eager to find an equally loving home that will keep her constructively active fur-ever and treat her like the star she is! Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $300 . Our adoption fee covers the following: - Spay/neuter - Microchip - DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. - Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Hi there I'm Ada! I'm a sweet, energetic girl who is ready to go home! I did fine with dogs in my last home but if you can bring in your dog to visit me first that would be fun! I'm a hound so I like to talk so I can't live anywhere with shared walls. We don't want to upset the neighbors! Not to brag but I am a super athlete and can jump really high! I need a yard with a tall fence and I'll need you to watch me while I run around and play. I'm a cool dog and if you can keep up with my energy, come visit me today!October 3, 2023, 1:34 am
