HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Hi, I am Simba! King of the house! I am proud to be a Plott Hound mix and the bestest boy ever! I love to cuddle with my people and play with my foster's other dogs. My best friend is my foster's husky, who is the same age as me! I am a bit shy meeting new people and ask that you give me patience and maybe some treats while I warm up. I get along with all dogs big and small. I have been around a cat and was curious but the cat didn’t want anything to do with me. I’m good with older kids. I am a bit stubborn but motivated with food. The crate/pin isn't my favorite, but I am okay as long as I have some toys to play with. I love balls and toys that make crunchy noises. I have minimal house accidents and am still working on commands. I like to sleep in the room with you and sometimes ask to sleep in the bed. I do love to cuddle on the couch while watching tv. I'm up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. I'd love to meet you, apply today! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming   ##1994431##

HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Introducing Lisa, the embodiment of love and a graduate of the board & train program. This 4-year-old Plott Hound mix is an absolute sweetheart, and cuddling up with her is the perfect way to spend any day. With her friendly and playful nature, she's a true people pleaser and a joy to have around. Lisa's intelligence shines through as she showcases her impressive skills like sit, down, stay, and come on command. She's a quick learner and enjoys pleasing her humans with her abilities. She loves going on walks and sniffing all the sniffs. But make sure you ALWAYS have a doggie bag handy! This lovely brindle-colored beauty weighs around 60 lbs, and is equal parts spunky lady and lazy house dog. She's crate trained and house trained, making her a well-mannered addition to any home. Lisa is good with kids and enjoys their company. She loves to be near her humans and is very loyal. Her favorite place to be is laying next to you with her head in your lap. If you let her, she’ll even sit on your lap!  She gets along with all types of dogs, regardless of their gender or breed. She loves to play and wrestle, but can also entertain herself with a beloved toy. She would also love it if her human tosses a ball in the air so that she can show off her acrobatics as she jumps up after it. Lisa's greatest wish is to find a loving forever home where she can be showered with affection and enjoy playtime to her heart's content. She has been waiting patiently for this chance for far too long, and she truly deserves a place to call her own. Rest assured, Lisa is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped, ready to join her forever family. He’s so playful and sweet. He kept his attention on me at all times. He really seem to enjoy the attention being given to him. I tried playing with a toy with him but he didn’t really seem to know what to do with it! I’m sure with time he’d be a wonderful playmate! He walked well on the leash (was able to take him out despite his age as staff told me he already had both boosters) He got super excited next to other dogs as if he wanted to play with them. His colors are gorgeous which is what made me go see him. He also has the cutest thing where one ear is up and the other is down! Great puppy!! Foster notes:  One of my easiest fosters to date!  Loves playing with his foster brother Jax Seems to be potty trained.. he only went potty once inside and it was when I was cooking, he scratched at back door and I didnt open it in time! Loves water/baths, just stood there and even laid on his back for belly scratches.  So happy to eat, wags his tail the entire time  No resource guarding that i noticed Slept in a kennel ALL night, didnt make a sound.  Havent seen with children or cats.  knows how to sit He transitioned into a house super easy for being in Barc for I believe a month.    Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2592744##

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Rhubarb Pie finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Rhubarb Pie | 6-Year-Old Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix | A Sweet, Spotted Snugglebug Rhubarb Pie—affectionately called Ruby—is a beautiful, affectionate, and spirited 6-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with striking brown, grey, and black spotted markings. Once found in a Kansas field severely underweight, Ruby has blossomed into a happy, healthy, loving girl who is ready for the stability, affection, and joy of a forever home. Ruby is more than 95% house-trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. She stands by the door when she needs to go out and even paws at it to let you know. She’s also fully crate-trained, sleeping quietly through the night and resting calmly when left alone. She walks nicely on leash and enjoys sniffing on walks, though she can be nervous around unfamiliar men and may bark or howl until she warms up—which she does quickly with patience and reassurance. This sweet girl is playful, energetic, and loves other dogs—especially those who can match her enthusiasm for wrestling, running, and playing with toys. She’s best suited for a home with playful dogs of her size or larger, as her energy and puppy-like play style can overwhelm small seniors. Ruby has shown some resource guarding behavior around her crate and the items in it, but with simple management (like covering the crate), she has done beautifully. Outside the crate, she shares toys and space very well. Ruby is incredibly affectionate and has a wonderful mix of high energy and cozy snuggle vibes. She loves playing fetch, wrestling with her foster sibling, and carrying or “burying” her favorite toys under pillows and blankets. When it’s time to relax, she happily crawls into your lap, offers her belly for rubs, and gently paws at you for more love. She knows sit, down, no, and drop it reliably, responds well to structure and correction, and is highly motivated by food, toys, and affection. Her ideal home is one that can provide both activity and cuddle time—structure, love, and patience will help her continue to flourish. She could thrive as an only dog or with another playful dog, with proper introductions. Ruby bonds easily with women and, with a little patience, forms deep, loving attachments to men as well. Ruby has already come so far and is truly a gem—sweet, loving, playful, eager to learn, and ready to shower her forever family with affection. She’s a resilient girl who loves to love and be loved, and she’s all set to begin the next wonderful chapter of her life.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Good day! I'm Tiara! My sister and I were adopted together when we were little, but somehow we found ourselves back out in the world and ended up as strays. I’m a mix of Catahoula Leopard Dog and German Shepherd — so I’ve got both smarts and style! I’m a sweet girl who gets along well with other dogs, and I’ve even been around chickens, turkeys, and goats with no trouble at all. I’d love a home where I can stretch my legs, run, play, and go on all sorts of adventures with my people. I'm super smart, a quick learner and I respond well to training. I just graduated a 7 week obidence training course. I'm also housebroken & I've lived in a home before and know the ropes. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving friend who’s ready to make every day brighter, I think I might be the one for you! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##1119139##
