Story
Meet Todd — your future adventure buddy and professional nap enthusiast. Todd is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and laid-back charm. He’s always ready for a game of tug-of-war or a little burst of zoomies, but just as quickly, he’ll curl up for a cozy nap and recharge for the next round. It’s basically his signature routine: play hard, nap harder. This sweet, brave, and curious little guy is eager to explore the world by your side. He’s already making great progress with his potty training and is learning quickly, especially when encouraged with patience and consistency. At night, Todd is a dream—he sleeps soundly in his crate for up to 7 hours and will gently let you know if he needs a potty break with a few soft whines. He’s polite, communicative, and already showing what a great companion he’ll be. Todd would thrive in a home that’s ready for a playful pup who also loves to wind down with snuggles on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep you active, make you laugh, and then happily snooze beside you, Todd might just be your perfect match. ##2720177##

Story
I have had my dog for about 9 years. He has been part of our family for a long time and is very loyal and protective of his home. He is older now and is used to a familiar environment and routine. Due to changes in our living situation, we are no longer able to provide the structure and environment he needs. He does best in a calm home where he can be the only pet, as he is not comfortable around other dogs. He is very affectionate and enjoys being around his people, but he needs an experienced owner who understands dog behavior and can give him clear boundaries and a stable routine. I am hoping to find a safe placement or organization that can better meet his needs and ensure he is in the right environment for his personality.

Story
Nice to meet you, I’m Foxx! I’m a sweet and playful Plott Hound mix who’s always ready for my next adventure. If you grab the leash, I’m already excited!! Walks are one of my favorite things, and I’m proud to say I do a great job out there! I’ve got lots of energy and love to move, play, and explore—but I’ve also got a chill side too. I have great dog skills and love engaging in cute, bouncy, low-energy play with my dog friends. And when playtime is over? You can usually find me lounging on my bed like the couch potato I am. I’m a pretty smart guy—I know some basic commands already and I’m super eager to learn more. I’m very food motivated, so treats and toys are the way to my heart! I really enjoy engaging with both, and I’m always ready to work for a snack. When we first meet, I might seem a little aloof, but don’t be fooled—I’m actually a super sweet and affectionate boy. Once I warm up, my loving personality really shines. Plus, I’ve been told my big, shiny eyes are pretty hard to resist I get along well with other dogs and love having a buddy to play with, but I’d also be happy soaking up all the attention myself. I just really love being part of the fun—and part of a family. I haven’t had the easiest start in life, but I haven’t let that stop me. I’m still a happy, hopeful guy who believes my perfect family is out there waiting for me—and I can’t wait to meet them! If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who’s equal parts playful and couch potato, I just might be your guy! I am Heartworm Positive, which means I am available for foster-to-adopt while Animal Friends Alliance provides treatment. Don't worry, though, I've got a normal long life ahead of me, just need a few months of TLC and I'll be good to go! Before you ask, it's not contagious to other dogs, cats or people. Please call 970-484-8516 or email adopt@savinganimalstoday.org with questions!

Story
Beau is 2 years and 4 months old. I am looking for a home for him that has outdoor space with people who are active. Beau is extremely loving, playful, and curious. He likes to cuddle up on the couch next to you while he sleeps, and when he is outside, loves sniffing everything in sight and chasing a good stick. He is fully house-trained and loves going for walks and hikes.
