Story
Milo looks like someone shrunk a hound down to a much more convenient size. At around 18 months old and only 30 lbs, he has the classic hound look without the classic hound volume. Milo isn't a loud or particularly vocal dog. He is incredibly sweet, easygoing, and low maintenance. Milo has a naturally submissive personality with other dogs and gets along great with them. He's also great with cats, making him an easy addition to a home with other animals. Milo is a chill little guy who doesn't need constant activity or entertainment to be happy. Give him some love, a comfortable place to hang out, and a family to call his own, and he's pretty content with life. Good fit: someone looking for a sweet, quiet, low-maintenance companion who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit? Story
Meet Pixie. This little girl had a rough start when she was found with her canine companion, Dixie. They were found as strays and wandering the streets and both where extremely emaciated. Pixie was restored to good health and a healthy weight and is ready to find the forever family of her dreams. Pixie is a 6-month-old Plot Hound mix. She currently weighs 20 pounds and is expected to be a medium-size dog of anywhere under 60 pounds when fully grown. She is a great with other dogs and children but has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. Pixie is young and full of puppy energy and puppy antics. She looks forward to a life of adventure with her family by her side. Balls, toys and romps in the yard will make a great day in the life of Pixie. Good times and Pixie go hand in hand. Big hearts and big dreams are what Pixie is all about. She finds love wherever she goes. Her future family will certainly feel the love of Pixie each and every day. Along with her big heart Pixie has lots of determination. She is working on her house, crate and leash training skills. She will work hard on each skill until she reaches her goal.Pixie left the streets behind but her good nature and loving personality has not been diminished. She has high hopes and great expectations to fill in the new chapter of her life. Her happiness will be secured with the foundation of a loving and supportive family. * Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Pixie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a fun loving companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog disease." and we have JUST the cure for you!!! I am a DOC :) Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living.... here is what one of my admirers has to say about me ;) "Doc is a super playful dude and is soo happy to meet everyone he sees and just is an overall bouncing bundle of joy. He loves walks, pets and scratches, and loves to do sprints with you. When you're walking he will walk slightly ahead of you and is super excited to meet everyone. He'll try to pull but once he realizes you are not coming too fast he will do this cute little hop thing where he bounces between his front paws and his back paws, its adorable" That is quite an admirer, right??? If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
