Story
Dean is 5 years old and is a very sweet dog. He loves cuddling with people. He was my son's dog who moved and couldn't keep him. We have a dog of our own and the cost to maintain 2 dogs has just become too much. Dean has been around a variety of people and has done very well. He might be excited at first but settles down quickly. He walks well on a leash and would benefit from a secure fenced in yard where he can explore.

This sweet girl was rescued after roaming as a stray and has quickly charmed everyone she meets with her gentle and affectionate nature. Bertha absolutely adores people and thrives on attention and companionship. She’s great with other dogs, making her an excellent playmate for furry siblings, and she’s also wonderful with kids, making her a perfect fit for a family. Her playful energy is balanced by her sweet and loving demeanor, making her the kind of dog who’s just as happy to chase a ball as she is to cuddle up for snuggles. Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a fun loving companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog disease." and we have JUST the cure for you!!! I am a DOC :) Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living.... here is what one of my admirers has to say about me ;) "Doc is a super playful dude and is soo happy to meet everyone he sees and just is an overall bouncing bundle of joy. He loves walks, pets and scratches, and loves to do sprints with you. When you're walking he will walk slightly ahead of you and is super excited to meet everyone. He'll try to pull but once he realizes you are not coming too fast he will do this cute little hop thing where he bounces between his front paws and his back paws, its adorable" That is quite an admirer, right??? If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Catahoula Leopard Dog Mutt

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Ginny is a 14 month old catahoula mix. She is very energetic and quirky as can be! She loves taking long walks and does great at regular "doggy day care" visits at a facility in our town and loves other dogs. She does great with our kids. Ginny has gone through both group training sessions for basic commands, and has worked privately with a trainer. Ginny needs frequent exercise in conjunction with mental puzzles such as licky mats and sniffing adventures. Ginny should NOT be in a home with other cats. An ideal adopter would have an active lifestyle and/or work from home to give her the attention she craves. Her current human works from home and this is the lifestyle she knows. An adopter WILL have their references called, and you need to be established with a vet of your own or opt to continue with her current vet in Western MA (they're a part of a chain).
