Nathan's version of "helping" is usually diving headfirst into the leaf piles and having the time of his life! This sweet pup is also ready to embrace all the cozy traditions that come with family life. Whether he's supervising your pumpkin pie baking from the kitchen floor, greeting trick-or-treaters on Halloween night, or curling up beside you to watch football on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Nathan is happy just being part of the fun. Story
Milo looks like someone shrunk a hound down to a much more convenient size. At around 18 months old and only 30 lbs, he has the classic hound look without the classic hound volume. Milo isn't a loud or particularly vocal dog. He is incredibly sweet, easygoing, and low maintenance. Milo has a naturally submissive personality with other dogs and gets along great with them. He's also great with cats, making him an easy addition to a home with other animals. Milo is a chill little guy who doesn't need constant activity or entertainment to be happy. Give him some love, a comfortable place to hang out, and a family to call his own, and he's pretty content with life. Good fit: someone looking for a sweet, quiet, low-maintenance companion who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $500 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit? Story
Meet Pixie. This little girl had a rough start when she was found with her canine companion, Dixie. They were found as strays and wandering the streets and both where extremely emaciated. Pixie was restored to good health and a healthy weight and is ready to find the forever family of her dreams. Pixie is a 6-month-old Plot Hound mix. She currently weighs 20 pounds and is expected to be a medium-size dog of anywhere under 60 pounds when fully grown. She is a great with other dogs and children but has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. Pixie is young and full of puppy energy and puppy antics. She looks forward to a life of adventure with her family by her side. Balls, toys and romps in the yard will make a great day in the life of Pixie. Good times and Pixie go hand in hand. Big hearts and big dreams are what Pixie is all about. She finds love wherever she goes. Her future family will certainly feel the love of Pixie each and every day. Along with her big heart Pixie has lots of determination. She is working on her house, crate and leash training skills.
