Story
Meet Diesel, a handsome Plott Hound mix with a big, beefy build and an even bigger heart for the people he loves. While his exact mix is unknown (some guess Great Dane or Boxer), what is clear is that he bonds deeply with his humans. In a calm, adult-only home, Diesel is incredibly loving, cuddly, and devoted. He thrives on close companionship, enjoys being near his people, and is naturally protective in a gentle, loyal way. He is vocal and expressive—he likes to “talk” and let you know how he is feeling, which is part of his charm once you understand him. Recent life changes, including the arrival of a baby, have proven overwhelming for him, and we want to ensure everyone’s safety and happiness. He would do best in a quiet home with experienced adult owners and no small children, other dogs, or cats—where he can relax and truly be himself again. This decision comes from love, not lack of it. Our hope is to find him a peaceful home where he can feel cherished for the sweet dog he is.

Story
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a ray of sunshine, a golden retriever meme, and a professional good‑boy all merged into one being… meet Sunny, a 2‑year‑old neutered male who has graduated from doggy daycare training with honors in “Trying His Best.” Sunny didn’t just complete training — he thrived. He worked hard, charmed everyone, and impressed his trainer so much that she wanted to adopt him herself… but five other pups beat her to it. (Sunny forgave them immediately. He’s generous like that.) Sunny is exactly what his name promises: bright, warm, and guaranteed to make you smile. He’s the perfect blend of goofy teenager and eager‑to‑please gentleman. In playgroups, he’s known as the dog who’s always engaged, steerable, playful, and social — basically the kid everyone wants on their kickball team. ⭐ Sunny’s Skills & Superpowers Knows sit, down, leave it, off Potty trained Crate trained & house trained (but also totally fine outside the crate) Walks well on leash Rides beautifully in the car Loves treats (training jackpot!) Dog‑friendly AND cat‑friendly Shares toys like a gentleman Can play gentle or rowdy depending on his friends Enjoys zoomies, fetch, tug‑of‑war, and treat puzzles Professional cuddler, certified lovebug Loves to be close — outside he stands upright next to his foster mom so they can lean on the railing together like two old friends watching the sunset 🌟 Sunny’s Vibe He’s playful, active, adventurous, and always ready for fun — but he’s equally happy trotting by your side as your loyal sidekick. He shines in the play yard, zooming around like he’s training for the Dog Olympics, then happily sharing his toys like the gentleman he is. Sunny is joyful, friendly, affectionate, and ready to bring warmth and laughter to a home that appreciates a dog who’s both silly and sweet. 🏡 Best Home For Sunny An active family who wants a dog that can keep up with adventures, playdates, and fun — but also loves a good cuddle session.

Meet Bailey! 🐾 If you've never been introduced to Plott Hounds before, you'll love the breed after meeting Bailey! This gorgeous brindle girl has some amazing tiger stripes, and the sweet temperament that all brindles seem to have. We love how happy she always is. Bailey loves other dogs and hauling around old shoes. She is glad to go in her crate for meals, and she keeps her crate clean. Bailey isn't needy, but she does love a good head rub! Her sweet face will make you smile, and her gorgeous fur will get lots of attention! Bailey was born around Christmas 2025 and had truly been a gift. Now she's ready to bring joy to your family! She is spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed, and on heartworm preventative. Story
Flick is a great puppy, he has a great temperament and pretty easy going. He is a playful pup, he loves toys, playing with other pups and dogs and is great with children. Flick is a little over 6 months and weighs around 30 lbs, so he should be a bigger medium sized dog as an adult. Flick stays in a busy foster home with other puppies, adult dogs and children, and he has done well. He will chase a cat, so his new home should be cat free. If you are looking for an active, medium sized buddy, Flick is sure to be a great addition to most homes. He would do best in a home with a yard for him to explore, he is still learning leash training, but he's a smart cookie and should pick it up with a little help. Flick has been neutered, vaccinated and is on monthly flea/heartworm prevention.

We travel to VA, MD, PA, NJ, CT, VT, and NY. Our dogs travel in comfort with 24/7 care. We have been facilitating long distance adoptions since 2019. ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations. We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible. *** We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents
