Story
Meet Diesel, a handsome Plott Hound mix with a big, beefy build and an even bigger heart for the people he loves. While his exact mix is unknown (some guess Great Dane or Boxer), what is clear is that he bonds deeply with his humans. In a calm, adult-only home, Diesel is incredibly loving, cuddly, and devoted. He thrives on close companionship, enjoys being near his people, and is naturally protective in a gentle, loyal way. He is vocal and expressive—he likes to “talk” and let you know how he is feeling, which is part of his charm once you understand him. Recent life changes, including the arrival of a baby, have proven overwhelming for him, and we want to ensure everyone’s safety and happiness. He would do best in a quiet home with experienced adult owners and no small children, other dogs, or cats—where he can relax and truly be himself again. This decision comes from love, not lack of it. Our hope is to find him a peaceful home where he can feel cherished for the sweet dog he is.

Story
Brindles are the best! And Lady Bird is everything that's great about a brindle: she's sweet, gentle, low key, and super smart. Birdie is great in public and with kids. She was the chillest dog when she made her adoption event debut. She sat politely in front of anyone who walked up to pet her. Birdie loves car rides and hanging out on the couch. She's fully vetted including spay, adult shots, and is on heartworm preventative. She is very good on a leash. Lady Bird is ready for a family to love and that will love how amazing she is! If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.cognitoforms.com/DixieGirl1/PetAdoptionApplicationForm2 PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
This beautiful girl came in to the rescue with her brother, Fred. After they were adopted from a shelter in terrible condition, were working with a trainer, and developed sweet personalities, their owner ended up in a dire situation, and regrettably had to surrender Fred & Ginger. Although they have been together since birth, they can be adopted separately. These medium sized dogs need a good, forever home, where they can enjoy being loved and nurtured, and trust they will never be neglected or given up again. They are very loving and walk great on leash. What a great family dog Ginger would make!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Ginger's adoption fee is $275. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Current Location: Littlestown, PA Hello! My name is Cordelia! I'm coming to OPH on 3/13. Please check back soon for updates on my personality, and to see adorable new photos. I'm searching for... * someone who won't leave me home alone for more than 4 hrs, at least not until I am older. The older I am the more I can stay home alone. I just don't want you to get mad at me if I have accidents or chew things I'm not supposed to when you leave me for too long. I'm a puppy, so I get bored quick and when I'm bored I could get in trouble. * I am looking for my forever home, not my for right now home. So as I get bigger I need someone to teach me how to be the best dog I can be. I am young and still learning. You may want to teach me some new tricks like sit, stay, etc. Professional training will help me bond with you. That sounds like fun! * I saved the most important for last. I am hoping my new mom or dad will snuggle with me, play with me and love me forever and ever! I'm making my way north in search of my new family. Is that with you? If so apply today because this cuteness won’t be around for long!
