Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Solita finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Meet Solita – Your Sun-Loving, Shoe-Sniffing Sidekick!  Looking for a best friend who’s equal parts goofy, cuddly, and ready to party at sunrise? Meet Solita, a 2-year-old mixed-breed beauty with striking white-and-brown fur, 41 pounds of love, and legs that sometimes forget how to coordinate — which only adds to her charm. Solita has puppy energy in full force! She plays hard, crashes for a power nap, and then is ready to go again. Tug-of-war, fetch (for, like, 3 throws), zoomies, and sunbathing are her jam. She's basically a little tornado of joy with a heart of gold. She’s crate-trained, leash-trained (although she gets a bit too excited when spotting other dogs — we’re working on that), and 95% house-trained thanks to the doggy door. Solita is food-motivated, toy-obsessed, and absolutely adores attention. She’ll rest her head on you for belly rubs and try to crawl into your lap if you sit down—personal space? Never heard of it. Her dream home? One with another young pup to wrestle and romp with, active humans who enjoy early morning walks, and folks who have patience and love to give. She’s a smart girl who just needs a bit of structure (and a place where shoes are out of reach... she thinks flip-flops are snacks). Solita is still learning, but her sweetness and sunny personality make every moment with her a joy. If you're looking for a goofy cuddlebug who wants to be the center of your world, Solita is ready to take center stage. Ready to let Solita shine in your life? Come meet her today – and don’t forget to hide your flip-flops!  If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Adoption Fee: $475 All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: This sweet, playful little beauty is Shay. She’s a very loving and lovable girl who will have perfect manners one day with a little more practice and fine tuning. She is potty trained and is getting used to the dog door but doesn’t quite know yet that she can go out on her own so she sits by the door when she wants out. She knows how to fetch and loves racing her foster sister for the ball in the backyard. Shay is one smart cookie and mastered our after dinner walk and bedtime routines by the second night. Although she would really prefer to sleep in bed with us, after just a little coaxing to get in her kennel, she slept quietly all night. Like most pups, she loves pets and snuggles from her people and gets along great with her furry foster siblings too. Shay would do great with any family so if you are looking for a cuddly, quiet, playful little shadow, Shay is your girl www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Hi, I’m Bambi! I’m about 5 months old, and I’m just starting to figure out how awesome life can be! I didn’t get much human interaction during the first part of my life, so I can be a little shy and unsure when I meet new people or explore new places. But once I get comfortable, my sweet and curious side comes out and I promise, it’s worth the wait! One thing I do know for sure: I love other dogs! Big ones, little ones, I love them all. Being around other pups helps me feel safe, and I learn a lot from watching them. If you already have a dog, that would be a huge bonus for me! I might have a bit of herding dog in me, because I like to bark at and try to herd the cats in my foster home. I’m not trying to be rude I just can’t help it! If your cat doesn’t appreciate that kind of energy, it might not be the best match. I’m working really hard on potty training and learning my manners. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and when my foster family’s out of the house. I’m told I’m cute as can be (I mean, just look at me!), and once I trust you, I’ll be your very best friend for life. All I need is a little patience, a lot of love, and a cozy place to call home. I can’t wait to meet you! If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $400 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age ##2424475##
