Story
Sissy's foster mom says she often sits on the sofa and watches them; not wanting to miss out on anything. Even when she's ready for a nap and she can't keep her eyes open she stays. Perhaps she is concerned that if she closes her eyes, she will discover that this amazing life was just a dream and will vanish? Can you believe that until just recently this girl spent her entire 8 years of life living outside in a 4 x 6 dog run? Her only purpose was to bring dead birds back to her owner. She has been so good in the house, working hard on her house training and being on her best behavior. She wants nothing more than to please and and earn your positive attention. While the vet estimated her to be 8 years of age, don't let that number fool you. Sissy still has a lot to do and a lot of love to give! This beauty is very good on leash and enjoys a .5 to 1 mile walk with her family each day. She currently lives with another female dogs and is very friendly. Sissy weighs around 45 pounds. Sissy is a stunning English Pointer who was surrendered after she decided hunting was no longer her calling. Sadly, her former owner didn’t have time for her outside of that role — but we know her perfect forever home is out there, ready to give her the love and life she deserves. At around 8 years old and weighing 45–50 pounds, Sissy has that classic bird dog spirit — curious, active, and intelligent. Don't let her age fool you! There is plenty of hunt left in this pretty girl! She enjoys exploring the yard, sniffing out every interesting scent, and keeping herself busy. She’ll thrive with daily exercise, outdoor adventures, and activities that engage her sharp mind.  Sissy lives harmoniously with another female dog in her foster home and is very friendly and congenial. Sissy is the perfect mix of companionship and enthusiasm — ready to curl up at your feet after a satisfying day of play and exploration. If you’re looking for a loyal, social, and spirited companion to share your life (and couch), Sissy might just be your girl. If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $150 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2344972##

Story
Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2243711##

Story
Biggie is the sweetest little boy, he is super quick to learn and eager to make new friends. He does great at the dog park and has never gotten into any scuffles with humans or dogs. He has attended 3 puppy classes and has picked up well on the tricks and methods taught. It would be awesome if Biggie could have a backyard as I live in an apartment right now and he loves nothing more than sun bathing in the grass. He does well with kids too so a family with small children would be no problem at all. I just want him to find a home that ready to take on a puppy and give this sweet boy the time and space he needs.
