Sadie is amazing and everyone loves her! She is very sweet and loving. She loves pets and would love a lap to cuddle but will also need an active family as she has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. She is doing well with off leash training and loves swimming. She walks well on a leash, really enjoying her walks and being outside. She is housebroken and is eager to please and looking forward to a loving family she can call her own.

Meet Your Future Humorous Gentle Giant! 2 Years Old | 70 lbs | Labrador Retriever / Pointer Mix A heart full of hope, a brave soul, and a gentleman in the making. This handsome young man has had a rough start to life. After spending his life in multiple rural shelters, the big, unfamiliar world can feel like a very scary place. New people, strange sounds, the smells, are still new experiences for him. Right now, he needs something he may not have had enough of in his life: time, patience, kindness, and the chance to learn that he is finally safe. But the beautiful thing about this boy is that, even through he fears, he is already beginning to let his guard down. On just his third day in foster care, I was rewarded with something truly special: a little tail wag! He spotted my cat, and I couldn’t help but wonder if seeing another animal brought him a little comfort. That same day, he began playing with his toys, too. They might seem like small things, but for a dog who has been so frightened of the world, these are wonderful little victories.  A few things to love about him: * Potty training. He’s doing great learning his    house manners.* Kennel comfortable. When I’m home, he has his kennel available with the door open. He can come and go as he pleases, taking his time until he feels comfortable enough to settle down. When I’m gone, he is happy in his crate. * His playful side is emerging! He enjoys toys and balls, and collecting things from around the house and storing them in his crate. If you’re missing anything, check his crate first, your belongings are probably there! He’s also a cuddle bug, and loves coupling up to his foster mom on the couch. * Learning to trust. I can already see progress. His confidence is growing, and his trust is building. * Working on mealtime security. He currently eats very quickly. I’m working on helping him feel safe and secure so he can learn that his meals are his and he doesn’t have to worry. What does he need from his forever family? Right now, walks on a leash are still too scary for him. The world outside his comfort zone is overwhelming, but with gentle encouragement, patience, and time to build trust, he will gradually learn that new adventures don’t have to be frightening. He will need a family willing to let him adjust at his own pace, celebrate the little victories, and understand that trust is earned one moment at a time. He may not be the dog who runs up to greet you on the first day, but imagine the feeling when he finally chooses to come to you, rests his head and his big floppy ears beside you, or greets you with a happy wag of his tail because he knows you’re his person.Those moments will mean everything. This boy is experiencing so many firsts: the companionship of other animals, the comforts of a home, the sounds of everyday life, and the opportunity to discover the world beyond shelter walls. Meet River, a delightful beautiful blue eyed puppy with a heart full of joy! He's the epitome of sweetness, always gentle and very curious. River is not just smart; he's also incredibly playful and loves to cuddle and be by your side. Whether you're reading a book, watching tv, or doing house chores, he's happy to follow you every step of the way! He has become my little shadow following me everywhere I go. River has been sleeping in a dog bed in my bedroom and sleeps through the entire night. River is learning new commands and skills and responds very well to positive praise after doing a good job. His long white tail is usually flopping a mile a minute because he is just that happy of a puppy. River is very affectionate and gives the most gentle sweet kisses! He is nearly fully house broken and understands the routine of going in the backyard in the morning and evenings to go potty. River is doing amazing learning how to walk on a leash and seems to enjoy it very much. I would describe his demeanor as very chill overall, while I am in my office River sits next to me in a cozy dog bed taking a nap or playing with a toy. River would make a wonderful addition to any home, he has the most loving and sweet disposition and gets along with other dogs as well. Meet Dolly P y'all. This gorgeous girl is as riduculously cute, sassy, intelligent and personable as the OG Dolly she is named after who we all know and love! Pushing 5+ months and 20+ pounds, you better grab her before we foster fail and keep her ourselves! Dolly LOVES her peeps, bonds easily, is super smart (some might say a bit too much!) and is very playful, cuddly and curious. She's pretty good in a crate, and we're working on her house training, which is progressing as she is now use to the doggy door. Her gums must hurt a lot as she's teething / chewing nonstop, which we're also working on redirecting w/ a lot of chew toys. She is super food motivated so should be easy to train, e.g. she has "sit" down pat. She is food dominant so we feed her in her crate, which means she also knows "bed" command means where she will be fed. She loves her big foster brother, and would likely do well with another younger doggie or two to play with. Not sure about cats, and while she is good w/ "kids", maybe not the best fit for younger children since she still is a young, active, chewing puppy. ##2863944##
