Contact the foster at, jsokley@gmail.comMeet Greta — your ideal match might be waiting! Greta is a great beautiful, gentle soul with a funny, affectionate personality. She’s a curious girl who loves car rides, spending time outside (especially the greenway), and lounging on the couch with her favorite human. Treat-motivated and eager to please, she’ll do just about anything for a tasty snack — especially bananas or doggy ice cream!Greta enjoys keeping herself entertained by tossing her toys up and down the stairs and often strikes hilarious sleeping poses (imagine one paw up in the air!). Despite her goofy side, Greta is a sensitive pup who appreciates a calm, gentle home. Thunderstorms don’t bother her at all, but loud, sudden human noises — even playful ones — can make her uneasy.Greta is making wonderful progress with training. She knows “sit,” loves her crate (as long as the door stays open), and is practicing “stay.” She’s comfortable in a harness and does great in the car, although a seatbelt attachment would be wise, so she will not try to ride by your side while you’re driving. Greta also has adorable, webbed paws — who knows, maybe one day she’ll love the water, too! Finally, her jogging gait is so cute— it’s like she’s trotting at an angle.Greta can be a bit cautious at first and would do best with someone who can give her plenty of time, patience, and encouragement. Due to some separation anxiety, she’d appreciate a home where she isn’t left alone too long at first. Greta enjoys meeting adults and other dogs but needs to live in a cat free home.If you’re looking for a smart, silly, and loyal shadow who will make you laugh and melt your heart, Greta might be your ideal match. More about Greta:-She is also eating very well and gets excited for meal time. -Working through some barrier reactivity-She loves toys and has a hard time picking which one to play with when there are many choices!-She has a shy, cautious personality but opens up quickly when she trusts you.-She is VERY SMART!  She knows Sit, Down,Shake, Leave it, Wait.  She also responds very well to corrections.-We have not done a lot of walks as she was hyper-alert, scanning her surroundings and pulling quite a bit the first couple of days, which was manageable, but I thought I would give her some time to settle before working on leash manners.

Story
??Meet Atlas ??Atlas didn’t end up at our shelter because she wasn’t loved—quite the opposite. Her family faced an impossible choice that no one should ever have to make: when they found themselves homeless and were accepted into a shelter, they learned what so many families in our area have discovered the hard way—most homeless shelters don’t accept pets.Faced with the heartbreaking ?? decision between keeping Atlas or securing shelter for themselves, her family made the difficult choice to surrender her. We’ve seen this story play out over and over again in our community, and our hearts go out to every family forced into this impossible situation. Now we want to give Atlas a happy ending and find her the loving home she deserves. This 4-year-old girl is full of life, love, and energy! Her previous family had her for about five months, and here’s what we know:? Great with everyone—lived with children and did wonderfully, plus she gets along with other dogs and cats? She is active and playful and needs plenty of exercise. She gets the zoomies, rolls in the grass, and staff describe her as wonderfully silly.? Leash pro—walks really well on leash, making her a joy to take on adventures? She loves attention and is very affectionate with people.Atlas was an outdoor dog and may need help with housebreaking and crate training. She needs an active family who will give her plenty of exercise and patience as she learns to live indoors. This sweet girl has already been through so much. She deserves a family who can give her stability, love, and a place to truly belong.Come visit Atlas at ?? 430 Bristol Dr. and see if you can complete her happy ending. #adoptfromicas #myicasrescue A313506 | 4-years-old | Spayed Female | Weight: 45.8 lbs Our dog adoption fee is 8??0??and includes: ?? Neuter | ?? Microchip | ??Age- appropriate vaccines | ?? Current dose of heartworm & flea prevention

Story
MJ is a gorgeous 2-3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer with all the classic traits that make the breed so special. She’s smart, athletic, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. MJ loves being around her people and thrives on companionship—she’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of everything you’re doing. As a true GSP, MJ has energy to spare and will do best with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, runs, or outdoor play. She’s eager to learn and responds well to positive training, especially when it keeps her mind engaged. Mental stimulation is just as important to her as physical exercise, and she’ll shine in a home that gives her both. After a day of activity, she’s happy to settle in for some cuddle time and enjoy being close. She’ll do best in a home that understands her breed’s needs and is committed to providing structure, exercise, and plenty of attention. MJ is currently being fostered in a home with an older kiddo as well as multiple dogs. MJ has strong alpha traits and does not like to be challenged. While she gets along great with neutral and submissive dogs, being an only dog or with an experienced owner and slow intros is recommended. If you’re looking for an intelligent, affectionate, and active companion who will be your partner in all of life’s adventures, MJ might be your perfect match! BilliesBuddies.org/adopt
