Story
Hello, my name is Lola! I am an English Pointer born 7/18/22. I came to Richardson rescue because my owner died and there was no one to take care of me and my siblings.  I am lovable and want to learn to live with my forever pack. I do need a little work  walking on a leash, and house manners, but I am smart and eager to learn. It is unknown if I have ever lived in a home with a family before, but that is my dream. I will be affectionate and loyal in return, if only someone would give me a chance. I enjoy doggy ice cream, playing with chew toys, and playing with my sister. I get along well with the dogs here at the rescue. I can run like the breeze! I have been brought up to date on all vaccines and medical, Spayed Micro chipped.  If you could please go to Richardsonrescue.org and fill out an adoption application, it would be wonderful  to find someone to love me.        - Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 3:35 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Leo!  My birthday is 6/18/22. I am an  English Pointer. I came to Richardson rescue because my owner died and there was no one to take care of me and my siblings. I need help with general training and house manners as I probably have not lived inside yet. I am working on leash training. I have unusual and very handsome markings and am an affectionate boy that likes to play with my brother. I take treats gently and am learning to play with toys. I am up to date on all vaccines, dewormed, neutered, Microchipped, and ready to learn and be in my new home. If you could please go to Richardsonrescue. org and fill out an adoption application, I promise with a little love and stability I would make you proud to be my parents.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 3:35 pm

Story
Meet Louie! This almost 2 year old ( DOB 7/18/2022) is an English Pointer. Louie is a little shy at first, and then warms up to being petted and loved on. He came to us from a breeder so there was no leash, crate or house training. He has came a long way and does walk ok on a leash. He will need some patience to acclimate to living in a home. He is a sweet boy and would be great with some older kids to run and play fetch with. These are very smart dogs , they just need a chance to live and be loved in a new home. Louie has been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and ready to experience living with a new family. Please fill out an adoption application at Richardsonrescue.org and take this sweet boy home. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 2, 2024, 3:35 pm

Story
Our pretty little girl is called Cora and what a loving and sweet little Pointer mix girl she truly is.  She loves playing with other dogs and sleeping in the bed with her foster mom.  This little girl was one of 8 puppies left in an outdoor pen and basically abandoned by the former owner when they loved.  Neighbors stopped by for 3 months to feed and water the puppies and sadly that was all.  They grew and grew and eventually started fighting over the little food they had and the small pen was just so confining. One of the great Critter Cavalry Rescue foster moms heard of their plight and went to get them out of their hot, and confining pen that offered no exercise and not enough food daily…and NO HUMAN LOVE.  Now Cora and her siblings are seeking homes where they can spread their wings and bask in the love and care of their new families.  Cora is remarkably loving and fun and seems to not have been emotionally stunted by their early months of growing up abandoned.  We know that she loves other dogs!  She plays with a 45 pound black lab male that is a year old and “Her and Bo are like two peas in a pod”.  They absolutely love playing together, tug of war, chasing each other in the yard, or just sleeping in the dog bed together.  Cora is good with cats and loves the young children that are in the home, even with all their noise and high energy play.  She is almost there with her potty training and she is good with being in the crate at times needed.  Cora relates to people and loves them.  She always needs to be right by someone and loves to lay on your feet. She has learned not to be possessive of her good or toys as she first started out being.  We totally understood the possessiveness and now she is relaxed and eager to share.  This pretty girl and her siblings have come such a long way.  We are so happy for them to be in out foster care and receiving the love that they so readily deserve.  If you really want to adopt a “rescued dog” then Cora is the total definition of a rescued puppy! If you are interested in making her your own please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com!!! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 4, 2024, 10:14 pm
