LOCATION: Linden, VA Chip's adoption fee is fully sponsored — lucky pup! 🐶 Meet Chip! Chip is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a big heart! Whether he’s chasing a ball or entertaining himself with his toys, Chip brings a playful spirit and joy to everyday life. He also loves baths! Chip may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal personality shines. He forms strong bonds and loves being close to his people—whether that’s relaxing on the couch or lying at your feet while you work. He will thrive in a home that offers structure and encouragement where he can continue building confidence. • Secure yard: Chip loves having space to run and play freely. • Exercise: He’s an active pup who benefits from regular playtime. He’s improving on leash walks but can still be a little fearful in new environments. • Companions: Chip has done well with other dogs, from calm companions to rough-and-rowdy playmates. He is also good with cats! • Crate trained: Chip does well in his crate and settles nicely, sometimes putting himself in for naps or chew toy time. He sleeps through the night and does not have crate accidents. • Potty training: Chip is getting much better with potty training, and will need continued consistency and routine to help him master it. • Toys: Chip has experienced a lot of change in his short life so far and can sometimes be protective of toys or high-value items, but he responds well to trades and positive reinforcement. • Kids: Chip does well with older children who can respect his space and help him continue building confidence. Are you Chip's hero? If so, apply to adopt today!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant. NOTE- MUTTLEY IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR ANOTHER RESCUE ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.  Valley View Animal Rescue email: amybennettwashburn@gmail.com Phone: (540) 862-1756Muttley is one of eight puppies we took in back in August of 2025. Six of his siblings have been adopted, but he and his brother, Scrappy, are still looking for furever homes! He is a playful and curious pal with very adoring eyes and loves everyone that he meets. While he prefers to dine alone at a table for one, he loves playing with other pups and would enjoy a canine sibling. Muttley wants to be your next best friend to take EVERYWHERE, whether it be Petsmart, family gatherings, or a day out in nature. He would best suit a home with a fenced-in yard and someone willing to continue his training.   Would you consider making him a new member of your household? Call our number listed above or apply for his adoption at: https://forms.office.com/r/qpqJJH6CD2 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 15, 2026, 2:26 pm

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.8/4/26 Freckles and Confetti are a special pair of bonded sisters who are looking for a home where they can stay together. They are such sweet babies. I do not know their breed, but my guess would be bird dog mix. I rescued them out of the woods when I was driving by and saw them run into a drainage culvert. I stopped and they ran into the woods. These girls heavily rely on eachother and I would hate to seperate them. They want so badly to be loved, but until they were rescued, the only love they had known was from eachother. They wag their tails and belly crawl to me, but they are still a bit timid. You can tell they have experienced a lot of neglect and possibly abuse in their lives. But they love to be held and loved on. They are just very insecure. Freckles and Confetti are crate trained and they are very well behaved when crated. No accidents and no crying. They feel safe in their crate and don't mind it at all. They are about 4 months old and each weigh between 20-25 lbs, with Freckles being slightly larger. They will probably be in the 50-60 lbs range once grown. They are not high energy puppies. They play with each other some but mostly they cuddle and have a lower energy level for young puppies. They are precious little souls that need a patient and understanding family who will show them that there are kind people in the world. Despite their fears and insecurities, they have never growled or acted aggressively in any way, they want so desperately to be loved on. They have made great progress here and they will continue to gain confidence once in a loving home. Please consider adopting this little pair. We will happily reduce fees to help with the cost of adopting the 2 of them together. They are spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.Located in Arkansas and can be adopted locally, or can transport to the New England area if adopted there. If adopted in New England, adopter will need to pick up (or arrange for a trusted friend/family to pick him up) on a Saturday in MD, PA, NJ, or CT. Residents of other states may adopt as well, as long as they can meet our transporter along their route. For questions or more info, email apps.aasr@gmail.com.To apply to adopt, click here:https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Gracie is just the sweetest, happiest puppy! She's old enough to be past the super nibbling stage but young enough to learn all her tricks with you! Gracie absolutely loves every person, child and dog she meets! She can play hard and nap with the best of them! She has a sweet soul. She's a 40-ish pound pointer mix, has a lean build, and is probably around 10 months old. If you're looking for a playmate and snuggle buddy, Gracie may be your girl!

Story
PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our adoption application can be found at haydudeequine.org. Meet Smee! Ahoy! I'm Smee, and just like my namesake from Peter Pan, I'm on the hunt for my very own Captain Hook... except I'm hoping mine comes with treats, belly rubs, and a forever home! Born in November 2025 and weighing around 70 pounds, I'm a big, goofy puppy with the sweetest heart. People say I look like a little cow—not just because of my adorable black-and-white markings, but because I'm built like one too! My size might be impressive, but I'm really just a gentle giant who wants to be close to my people. If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I LOVE water. Kiddie pools, stock tanks, puddles—you name it! My favorite pastime is climbing into a water tank, sinking down until I'm completely submerged, and leaving just my eyes above the surface like a little alligator. It's guaranteed to make you laugh. When I'm not making a splash, you'll usually find me carrying around a toy or convincing someone to play a game of tug-of-war. I get along great with other dogs and love having canine friends, but if you ask me what I love most, the answer is easy: people. I'm the definition of a loyal companion. I'll happily rest my big head on your shoulder or in your lap, soaking up all the love you're willing to give. Even though I'm still a puppy (which means I have the occasional silly puppy moment), I'm surprisingly laid-back and easygoing. I'm also working hard on my potty training, and I'm doing a fantastic job! I'm eager to learn and even more eager to make my family proud. If you're looking for a happy, affectionate, water-loving best friend with a heart as big as he is, then I just might be your perfect first mate. All I need now is a family to call my own. Could you be the Captain Hook I've been searching for?
