Bali - the party pom here! I am a happy go lucky little ball of poof - and boy oh boy will you fall in love with me! I came here when my human got a new job and couldn't take care of me anymore. I don't mind though - the humans here have been so nice, and have given me TONS of snacks and pets. I love to play fetch, did well with kids in my previous home, and was even house and crate trained! My old owner said the ideal home for me would be a family with love and time to give me plenty of attention and nourishment.. I'm just a baby, at around 6 months old, but shouldn't be getting too much bigger than my current 13 pounds, so what do you say? Do you have room in your life for a happy little ball of fluff?! Please note that because all of our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be about an hour of Wilmington, DE in order for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in person home visit. Meet Scarlet! Scarlet is a 12-year-old Pomeranian. She was found as a stray and brought to a shelter where she sat for weeks with no one coming for her. Soon after, one of our volunteers was visiting the shelter and asked if they had any senior dogs. Scarlett popped out, got her freedom ride, and hasn’t looked back since. Scarlett has a heart murmur that required an echo. Turns out she simply had some old lady heart valve issues and is doing great on medications. She takes one medication twice a day and the other once a day. She happily takes them in a pill pocket or lunchmeat and the monthly cost for these is about $65. Scarlet is up-to-date on her shots and had all her senior bloodwork done. She received a dental where her two remaining teeth were removed due to disease. That doesn’t stop her from eating though; she loves her meals! Scarlet is full of energy. She can easily handle stairs and is fully house trained. Scarlett loves to run around the yard, go on walks, and cuddle up in your lap. She gets along great with other dogs big and small, and loves everyone she meets. Scarlet currently goes on visits to a nursing home and happily gets passed from one lap to the next. She is very well behaved, great with kids, and loves giving out kisses. Scarlet would do great in any home whether busy or quiet. She has so much love to give and can’t wait for her forever family. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  George is a male pom/chi mix. He is scared upon first meeting him but does warm up after some time. He would need someone to give him some patience and love to learn to trust. Once he does he is full of kisses and will love you unconditionally.   George is now up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines,  microchipped, tested for heartworm negative and now current on preventatives. He is also neutered. No young children. Gets along with 9yher dogs his size but not tested with cats.
