Have you ever seen a more beautiful dog?!? His coat does require some serious grooming (brushing often), but his mane is gorgeous. He's a sweet little guy that would do well with another smaller dog in the home. He is a bit shy with people and other dogs help bring out his confidence. Dee Dee is a little dude with a big personality! When he's not sneaking sips from your glass of water, he can most often be found in a nearby lap. Dee Dee loves long walks and is unbothered by the sights and sounds of the big city! It can take him a little bit to warm up to new people, but once you're in, you're in for good - he never forgets a friendly face! Weight: 12.7 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Working on it! They're doing well on a schedule but will have occasional accidents in the home. Crate-trained: Working on it! They will bark or vocalize for up to 30 minutes, but do eventually settle. Leash behavior: Good! They enjoy walks and are easy to handle while on leash. Dog sociability: They love them! They thrive with a dog buddy and would love to live in a forever home with other dogs. Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats. Kid sociability: Unknown! They have never met children while in foster care. Likes: Long walks, sneaking drinks of water from cups, snuggling with his people Dislikes: Huggers who don't ask first This animal has been diagnosed with a heart murmur. We recommend you work with your veterinarian to keep a close eye on this. Heart murmurs require special attention if this animal is to go under anesthesia for surgery or a dental cleaning. My original home would hit me and this left some scars on my heart. My last home said that I was loving and affectionate with them but also protective. Unfortunately, I just didn’t care for their cats and kids. I do get along with dogs. I can be pretty active and playful and enjoy a nice game of fetch. I also sit and give paw. Can you help me heal emotionnally, I promise to love you with all my heart!
