Ms. Belle is looking for her forever home.  Belle is a 7–8-year-old, 8-pound adorable pom! She has excellent leash and car manners.  Belle’s ideal forever home is as your one and only girl.  Her previous owner had a medical issue and couldn't keep Belle.  Belle would also prefer a crate-free forever home.  She is house trained and loves to be held.  Belle can be a little bit nervous when first meeting new folks, so we don't think a home with littles is ideal for this sweet girl.   Sweet, Gentle, & Emotional   My name is Harrison, and I’m a 7-month-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix hoping to find the forever family who can give me the life my heart is ready for. I’m a petite 14 pounds now and will probably end up around 16 pounds as an adult—just the right size to hold close.   I was adopted as a tiny puppy by an elderly woman and her adult daughter who loved me with their whole hearts. But life has changed in ways none of us expected, and they can no longer keep up with my needs. They’ve cared for me the best they could, but walks, training, and outdoor potty routines became too difficult. I’ve been using pee pads inside simply because they had no other option.   They made the brave, loving decision to ask Critter Cavalry Rescue for help, and now I’m hoping for a home with people who are active, gentle, and ready to help me learn. I’m still young and eager—ready for walks, playtime, backyard exploring, and adventures. Meet Odie! He is a 19 month old Pomeranian who weighs about 7lbs. Odie is getting along well with the other dogs. Odie loves toys and balls. Odie has not had any training so his forever home will need to work on that with him. A fenced yard is required and any children should be at least 12 years old. Meet Rowan! A 14 lb, 5 month old Pomeranian/spitz mix who believes he's a Great Pyrenees! He will herd your every step. He will follow you around everywhere. While he can be a bit timid, he's full of love. He's currently learning to walk on a leash and is in the process of potty training. In less than 2 seconds, he'll happily clean your face. He enjoys playing with all sorts of toys, but be warned: He destroyed a stuffed toy in under 2 seconds, so that might not be the best choice for him. He loves gnawing on raw beef bones and being a puppy, he'll try to munch on anything he can find - including paperwork and shoes. Rowan is crate trained and is ready for his new family.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Rowan's adoption fee is $500. Meet Pixie! In late August, our rescue partner picked up this little Pomeranian from the shelter. The original owner had moved away, leaving this baby behind, and a neighbor tried to care for them but realized she couldn’t continue caring for her and had to take her to the pound. Pixie was nervous, dirty, and full of fleas, but after a much-needed bath, she’s already feeling so much better. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and is up to date on monthly prevention. Pixie weighs 9.5 pounds, is estimated to be 6 years old, and has beautiful red fur that will grow back fully. Pixie is calm and loves to cuddle; she is very affectionate. Her foster home has dogs of all sizes and cats too, she is doing well with everyone. Pixie will need time to acclimate to your home and expectations. Her new family needs to understand that she is a lifetime commitment; they must also be committed to daily exercise, continued training, and socialization.
