Story
He just wants to be with his humans, is a good companion, and is quirky and stubborn but can make you laugh because he is so weird. He loves all food and car rides. Would be good with a senior and someone who likes to cook.' Also, Buddy Lou “brings his personality to the table!” - Buddy Lou's Foster Mom. Now, how can you say no to that!?Buddy Lou is a 6.5-yr-old Pug/Boston Terrier who loves his people, is crate trained, and knows place. He typically looks to his people for direction and knows to wait. Super happy, 29-pound Buddy always has a smile. Buddy also never met a snack he didn't like. To maintain his svelte physique, which is important to keep his back healthy, he eats a high fiber diet of raw veggies and weight maintenance dry food. Don't let that description fool you...he loves them! He also takes supplements for his joints and back. Buddy Lou just really wants a forever home with someone who will take good care of him and keep him as happy, healthy, and loving as he is right now. He’d do best in a home with older children (teens) and would thrive as an only dog. Want to meet this little guy? Fill out an application today!March 27, 2024, 4:11 am

Story
Meet 1.5 year old, 17 lb, playful Pug/Pomeranian pup, Tobie. Tobie came to us from a loving home that took him in temporarily to help his original owner...and ended up keeping him. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen issues, the family can no longer keep him. Tobie has been well-socialized. He loves attention, being with people, and walks. Toby is great with other dogs and children. As an energetic puppy, there are times when his rambunctiousness is too much for older dogs. Thus, we recommend a home for him with another young dog to play with, or with an active family, who has the time to give him the love, attention, and playtime he needs daily. Tobie is crate-trained and knows several basic commands. Apply at adoptocpets.org/adopt

Story
Hello... I'm Missy! I am a one-year-old Pug/Chihuahua mix and I am such a happy go lucky dog, even if sometimes I look like I have a grumpy face. I’m a charming and social pup who has a heart full of love to share. I’m great with all humans and I love love to play with other dogs after a proper introduction. It would be great, if my new family had another doggy for me to play with. I love car rides and going for walks. My foster mom is working on house breaking and training me with positive reinforcement. My new family would need to be home frequently to continue this process. I love to cuddle and I do everything for treats. My unwavering enthusiasm and affection makes me the perfect furry friend for anyone seeking a loyal and loving companion. I’m a young and vibrant pup ready to embark on a lifetime of adventures with my new family. Could that be with you? If you are interested in adopting, please visit the I.C.A.R.E. Story
Meet Rosie - the amazing Pug! She is six years old and a very low energy, easy going dog and will adapt to whatever you are doing. Pugs just love to be with their people. Getting some fresh air and baking in the sun are favorite pastimes for Rosie. She will also do a couple zoomies and play with the other dogs for fun. She loves her walks and goes for a mile when weather is cool (careful with pugs they can overheat). She loves when the neighborhood children come to visit and shower her with attention. She is very people and dog friendly and she would do well going everywhere with you. She can sit on the couch with you or lay to the side and be happy. She likes her chew toys so have some ready on hand. Rosie makes herself fit right in and is the most loving sweet dog. Be sure to brush your Pug because they are double coated and can shed. Rosie is very special and you'll fall in love with her funny snore when she is sleeping. If it sounds like a good match, get your application in today!
