He’s about a year old, weighs around 12 pounds, and came to us from a neglectful situation in deep South Texas. Sheldon is friendly, gets along with everyone, and is just the nicest little dog. I can see him fitting into just about any family setting. If you’d like more information about him, just let us know! Sheldon is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to Geneva, IL on October 17th with approved application and confirmed adoption. His adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost. Marcos is an adorable ~2-year-old mixed breed, possibly Pug/Bulldog/Pit type mix would be our best guess! He is right at 30lbs. Marcos came to us from local animal control as an unclaimed stray. He's a big goofball who loves to run around and play. He will need someone willing to work on manners with him as he can be mouthy and likes to grab shirts or the leash. He is a smart, food motivated boy and is working on improving here, but would really thrive having someone who can work with him more consistently. Because he is working on his manners, he is looking for a home without kids.

He can live with calm, respectful dogs that will give him space, but he isn't a fan of dogs that are overly playful or pushy. Because he guards his food and treats, he'll need an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children who understand and respect his boundaries. I love my comfort duck toy and will run around with it. I get along with dogs. I am learning to play with my foster pack and with my foster parents. I like laying at your feet once I get comfortable around you. I have not been around cats. I do not like crates. At night, I sleep on a dog bed so I can watch my foster family. I am working on my house-training. I am not good on a leash, so I would prefer a fenced in yard, so I can run. I know sit. I love chicken treats.
