Story
Meet Ringo, a 1-year-old English Bulldog/Pug mix weighing about 45lbs. Ringo has had a rough start and is looking for a patient, dedicated home to help him blossom. He is dog friendly and very curious about other dogs, we think it would be very beneficial to have a friendly, confident dog in the home. Ringo can jump or climb any barrier or fence. He cannot be off leash outside at all as he will escape and run away. Ringo is quite nervous and will need a couple meet and greets to get comfortable. Once he is comfortable, he thinks he is a lap dog and will jump onto staff or into their laps. His ideal home would be without kids and in a quieter environment, away from a lot of traffic. If interested in Ringo, please understand he will be foster-to-adopt as he will need time to decompress. We also have a behaviorist we utilize to help with the transition and adjustment.

Story
Pugsworth is a 32-pound bundle of personality, playfulness, and love! This energetic guy is always ready for fun — whether it’s a romp in the yard, a game of fetch, or just zooming around to show off his goofy charm. When playtime’s over, Pugsworth is just as happy to soak up some affection and enjoy a good snuggle. He’s got a sweet heart and a fun-loving spirit, but he also marches to the beat of his own drum — confident, curious, and delightfully unique. He would do best in a home with adults and older children who are able to handle his energy and playfulness. Pugsworth is your guy if you’re looking for a pup who’s equal parts playful and loving, and who will always keep life interesting!

Story
Who can say "no" to that little pug face with underbite!  Sadly, Boots was an owner surrender due to family health issues.   He is estimated to be 6 years old and is just shy of 20lbs. Foster home update: Boots is a playful fella who loves squeaky toys. When he's not playing with toys, he enjoys watching out the window or cuddling up next to his foster Mom. He does great on a regular potty schedule, is dog friendly but loves attention from his people. He will melt your heart with his whole body wiggles!   We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!                                      If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (       www.magnificentmutts.org )  No phone calls please, emails only. Adoption donations range between $400-$450 (cash only), unless otherwise noted. Prices are subject to change, please contact for specific adoption donation. Story
Another collaboration with Paws for Life K9 and Wings of Rescue to bring in 17 pups and dogs this weekend - mostly all small in stature with ages ranging from 8 weeks through 10 years!   Sooty's name describes this cute black/charcoal boy! He is estimated to be 1 year old and weighs between 15-17lbs.   Sooty is on the submissive side and gets along with both dogs and cats! Please note that he  will try to run out any time he sees an open door and the foster family is working on that.  More information to come soon as he gets settled! We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Story
We look forward to your response in regards for this delightful gentleman, but when you do, please use our application at sparrowdogs.com, or tell us a bit about yourself please. Meet Otto, he is perhaps a Pugchi, part Pug and part Chihuahua. We think the Pug genes gave him his love for the sedentary life, appetite and some girth. His Chihuahua side of the family tossed in a little bit of spice into that mix and gave him just a dash of attitude. He is a man of leisure. He enjoys a fine meal and a soft bed. He prefers his blankets swirled around his portly frame. Occasionally his face will poke out, just for a sniff, perhaps there is a snack headed his way?? Or...one of the other foster dogs might need his stern guidance if things are getting a little willy nilly. He does not suffer fools lightly.(lol) Well, with that said, that is the reputation Otto tries to uphold. He wouldn't want anyone to know that he really has a fun side, ya know! He can be a little cantankerous on occasion, but all that amounts to is a few grumbles. He wouldn't want to admit it, but he has had a lot of fun running around with the playful dogs in the yard. Even at 8-9 years old, he can be a spunky guy. Otto enjoys spending his time relaxing on a soft bed. He is looking for a more laid back home, and one that will understand that he may need a little time to get to know you. He will do well in a a dog savvy home that understands that it takes time to develop some relationships, and those can be the best ones!! He can be fine with kids, but we think perhaps teens, no little guys. Otto is fine with women, but really prefers men, he would like a buddy to hang around with. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart! You can apply for Bandit at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 3:05 pm

Story
Jersey girl is a short stout with an outgoing personality. She is so funny. Loves kids and every person she meets. Needing a home with no dogs, she still is involved with pack walks and leash skill classes. Maintaining a good citizen, we believe she has had past trama so extended play with dogs gets her stressed and that is why we have required no dog home. Sadly that is why she sits in our facility so long. We really would love to see this amazing girl get the family she deserves.
