Who can say "no" to that little pug face with underbite!  Sadly, Boots was an owner surrender due to family health issues.   He is estimated to be 6 years old and is just shy of 20lbs. Foster home update: Boots is a playful fella who loves squeaky toys. When he's not playing with toys, he enjoys watching out the window or cuddling up next to his foster Mom. He does great on a regular potty schedule, is dog friendly but loves attention from his people. He will melt your heart with his whole body wiggles!   We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Another collaboration with Paws for Life K9 and Wings of Rescue to bring in 17 pups and dogs this weekend - mostly all small in stature with ages ranging from 8 weeks through 10 years!   Sooty's name describes this cute black/charcoal boy! He is estimated to be 1 year old and weighs between 15-17lbs.   Sooty is on the submissive side and gets along with both dogs and cats! Please note that he  will try to run out any time he sees an open door and the foster family is working on that.  More information to come soon as he gets settled! Maddie is a 5.5 year old Pug and the world is her oyster. She's decompressing and learning so much about her new life in her foster home! So far, she has shown us that following the lead of other dogs is reassuring to her, and she accepts their friendship and love! She's fine with cats and, after some warming up, she's okay with adult friends, too. Her foster family is taking it slow, but she has started working on walking on a leash, hanging out in her crate, and doing her business outside. Frankly, Maddie would rather focus on hanging out on her foster mom's bed, and we can't blame her. Who doesn't love to sleep/hang out on the bed?! She's perfectly content if you want to watch Netflix and snack in bed - no judgment from this lady! We think Maddie will do well in many home environments as long as her adopter is prepared to work with her on training....and let her sleep....in the big bed :) She's happy to be a potato in a comfy spot! Bonus points that you'll get to see her happy tail wags and her nosiness come out more and more. She'll keep quiet tabs on you for sure! Maddie is a good girl looking for an even better home, and we can't wait to help her find the perfect match! Maddie's adoption fee is $550

Meet Pumpkin, a 1½-year-old Pug mix (26 pounds) who is looking for a fresh start and a forever family. Pumpkin came to our facility after her owner was facing landlord issues and had too many dogs, making it impossible for them to keep her. While this change was scary for her at first, it also opened the door for Pumpkin to find the loving home she deserves. When Pumpkin first arrived, she was a timid girl, unsure and nervous about her new surroundings. With a little patience and kindness, she has been slowly coming out of her shell and showing us her sweet, gentle nature. Pumpkin is a quiet, affectionate pup who just needs someone to show her that the world is a safe and happy place. Pumpkin would do best in a calm, understanding home where she can take her time settling in and building confidence. She does well with other dogs and she grew up in a home with older (10+ children) and did well. With her bashful demeanor and still adjusting, we are looking for a home with older children (8+). In return, she’ll offer loyal companionship, soft snuggles, and a heart full of love. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to grow with, Pumpkin may be the perfect addition to your family. Her adoption fee is $200, which includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, current heartworm/flea prevention, heartworm test, and registered microchip. She is already fixed! Meet Ringo, a 1-year-old English Bulldog/Pug mix weighing about 45lbs. Ringo has had a rough start and is looking for a patient, dedicated home to help him blossom. He is dog friendly and very curious about other dogs, we think it would be very beneficial to have a friendly, confident dog in the home. Ringo can jump or climb any barrier or fence. He cannot be off leash outside at all as he will escape and run away. Ringo is quite nervous and will need a couple meet and greets to get comfortable. Once he is comfortable, he thinks he is a lap dog and will jump onto staff or into their laps. His ideal home would be without kids and in a quieter environment, away from a lot of traffic.If interested in Ringo, please understand he will be foster-to-adopt as he will need time to decompress. We also have a behaviorist we utilize to help with the transition and adjustment.
