Story
Built Like a Tank But Powered by Pure Goofball Energy Hey there, world! The names Tank. Fitting, right? Im a 67-pound hunk of handsome with the spirit of a linebacker and the heart of a shadow-seeking velcro dog. Im a 3-year-old English Bulldog (or possibly part bowling ball, the jurys still out), neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and fully ready for my forever family. I landed with CEBR after some life changes in my previous home, but lucky for me, this rescue knows how to help a big guy like me shine. Lets start with the fun stuff because trust me, Ive got a lot of that. For a dog my size, Im shockingly athletic. Stairs? No problem. Zoomies? Lets go. Wrestling with other pups? Oh, Im a PRO. I love toys, people, praise, and basically any attention youre willing to throw my way. My foster parents say I have a whole puppy in a big dog body thing going on and honestly? Theyre right. I follow them everywhere and would happily be your personal assistant (I dont type well, but morale support? 10/10). Now for the good boy rsum portion:Im great on walks, happy for my routine cleaning and daily eye drops, and super coachable. I really do try my best most of the time. Im crate trained, potty trained, and solid when left home alone. Maybe a few minutes of UM EXCUSE ME WHERE ARE YOU GOING? whining, then I snooze like a champ until youre back. But Im not perfect (yet). So lets talk honesty. When Im really excited and think its playtime, I sometimes nibble your arms or legs. Im learning nope, buddy, humans dont wrestle like that, but Ill need a patient home to keep reinforcing it. I also prefer not to share toys with other dogs. Sharing is caring, sure, but have you seen my toys? Theyre AWESOME. I can resource guard food from other dogs too, especially human food (I dont get any, but I must have in my original home). And when it comes to other dogs, sometimes I forget that not everyone wants to play as hard as I do. Im practicing reading the room, I promise. Slow intros + supervision will be important. My dream family?Someone active enough to keep my brain and body moving. Walks, play, toys, training, I love it all. Because of my playful mouthiness, no young kids please. I truly like other dogs, but I need to be the only dog in the home. My rescue vet also suspects I may have an elongated soft palate (classic bully problems), so a family that can keep me active without letting me overheat would be perfect. If youre looking for a dog whos equal parts athlete, comedian, cuddle buddy, and lovable chaos gremlin well, I think you just found him. Ill be here working on my manners, perfecting my toy collection, and waiting for the humans who see past my size and into my sweet, eager-to-please heart.
