Story
Tiger is a pug mix estimated to be about 6 years old. He found his way to us due to no fault of his own, after his owner passed away. Though this must be such a confusing time for him he has truly been adjusting so well! Tiger does well with both dogs and kids. He has not been cat tested but he is respectful to everyone he meets so we don't see this being an issue! (We can cat test if needed.) He is very adaptable and can do well in any home because he is truly only here for the vibes. He is potty/house trained. He is working on crate training but could also do well left out. If his forever home does not include another dog (a resident dog is not required) we would not recommend an apartment as he does get a little unsettled in his crate alone. If there is another dog he is calm and quiet in his crate. He is leash trained and enjoys going on walks. His adoption fee does include his up to date vaccinations, neuter, heartworm test, "senior" blood panel and microchip. If you would like to be considered for Tiger apply here directly! If you have any questions please feel free to email adopt@chicgaorescueauthority.org. Story
We bought Wilson from a breeder when he was a puppy. He is now 3.5years old and needs a family who will have time to train him and play with him. We have another older dog in the home and the two have been battling for alpha in the home by way of marking. Wilson does well with urinating outside but if left to freely roam in the home he needs to be monitored for urinating. He gets overly excited when he sees other dogs and barks at them. He has started biting the fence when the neighbor dog comes outside. He has a lot of energy and it is difficult for us to take him for walks with 2 young children. He has not been properly trained which we think he would benefit greatly from. He sleeps with our son in his bed and does well with the kids, but again is overly excited most of the time. We are hoping to find a home where he will get more attention and walks to be able to enjoy his life to the fullest.
