Margo is a 6-year-old pug mix (about 20 lbs) looking for her next loving home here in Chicago. She's a total companion dog: affectionate, portable, and happiest curled up next to her person. She's spayed, crate trained, and fully housetrained, and she settles well when left alone. Margo just completed a week of professional board-and-train and has made real progress on her leash manners. Her new family should be willing to keep up her training (I'll share everything from her trainer). She grew up with room to roam, so a quieter street or a yard would suit her better than a dense downtown block. She has lived her whole life with my other dog, Alamo, and I would love for them to be adopted together, though I'm open to the right individual homes. I moved back to Chicago on my own and can't give two dogs the daily life they deserve. She comes with her crate, harness, and supplies, and I'd love occasional updates.

Mally is a young, energetic pug with endless love to give. She came to us from a home environment where she was unfortunately being bullied a lot by the other dog in the household, and as a result she’s developed some pretty firm dog boundaries, so we’d prefer for her to go to a home with either a very submissive companion dog or to a home where she can thrive as an only dog. She is crate trained, potty trained, and does excellent on a leash. She is an excellent car passenger, and while she can be a little nervous around strangers at first, she warms up very quickly. She has historically had some mild allergy problems in the spring where she gets a little redness between her toes, but a medicated leave on mousse has been very effective at managing that. You may have noticed that Mally only has one eye. Can’t get anything past you two-eye-havin’-folk, we know. Mally’s previous owners were unsure what happened to cause her to only have one eye as she was adopted to them after it went missing. That said, they did inform us that she’s very sensitive about the topic and there is an elaborate story about a fight with a bear that Mally definitely came out the victor from (sans an eye…) that she would prefer we keep consistent to help her keep up her tough outward appearance. Mally's adoption fee includes her spay, age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchip. She is available for adoption in or within 3 hours of Chicago. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gus – Your New Best Friend!  Gus is a lovable Pug mix with a heart as sweet as they come. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Gus can be unsure of meeting new people at first, and may be a little shy and territorial. Once he knows you, he will be your best friend for life. He will welcome you with kisses, happy jumps, lots of tail wags.  When Gus was owner surrendered, we were told that he is potty trained and does know how to use a bell to alert when needing to use the bathroom. He is also not much of a barker, gets along great with dogs, rides well in a car, and walks well on leash.  Gus is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.  His adoption fee is $400.
