Story
Summer Shandy is a confident, social butterfly who never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Whether she's greeting visitors, joining family activities, or soaking up attention from her favorite humans, she's happiest when she's part of the action. While she gets along wonderfully with the dogs, cats, and children in her foster home, it's clear that people are her favorite. If given the choice, she'll pick human companionship every time! This food-motivated girl is always eager to learn and loves earning treats for a job well done. She's also a huge fan of playing catch with her ball and will happily show off her retrieving skills whenever you're ready for a game. Once playtime is over, she's just as content to curl up nearby and relax. She has mastered the art of balancing fun and downtime, making her a wonderful fit for many different lifestyles. She is curious, friendly, playful, and always excited to see what the day has in store. She enjoys leash walks and is a fantastic walking companion. She can get a little excited and jumpy at times, especially when meeting new people, but she redirects easily and is eager to please. Quick stats! --Dogs: gets along well with dogs --Cats: gets along well with cats --Children: gets along well with children --Likes: playing catch, leash walks, and relaxing with her people Training Report Card: ⭐ House Training: A+ ⭐ Crate Training: Getting better every day! ⭐ Great with kids, dogs, and calm cats If Summer Shandy sounds like the right fit for your home, fill out an adoption application today! muttsofthemidway.org/adopt

Story
Hi there! I'm Patty Andrews, a 4-month-old Puggle mix with a white coat and tan markings, and I'm ready for my forever adventure! 🐾 Already spayed and full of puppy energy, I'm a friendly, playful girl who loves making new friends — both dogs and kids are my jam. My adventurous spirit and gentle nature mean I'll fit right into an active family looking for a pup who's always up for fun. My adoption fee is $500, and I can't wait to meet you! 💕 Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
