Selena is one of the most sweetest and friendliest dog you can ever meet. She is very mellow, quiet, and a bit shy. But she is also very affectionate, loyal, and well-behaved. She is not looking for adventures or excitement, but rather a quiet forever home where she can receive lots of attention, love, and affection. She is about 2 years old and weighs 30 pounds. Selena has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She walks well on the leash, enjoys car rides, and loves to cuddle. She's great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she would be a wonderful addition to any loving family. She doesn't ask for much other than a chance to be in a safe environment where she feels loved and cared for.

Story
If you happened to see “A Few Good Dogs,” you will recall Granite, a leggy rat terrier with a signature stub tail, in the Tom Cruise role. Ears at attention, standout brows, a serious demeanor enhanced by undeniable cuteness, his performance was a Method masterpiece that happened to align perfectly with his off-screen personality. He’s a gentle and studious sort whose slight vision impairment means he likes a slow approach from dogs and people -– two species with whom he gets along very nicely. He’s polite, energetic, likes a snuggle and a soft place to nest. And he can handle the truth! Which, in this case, is that whomever adopts him is about to win the dog lottery. Here's some notes from his foster: Granite is a chill guy, and is content to snooze in his bed whether you're in the room or not. While he has some vision impairment, it doesn't hold him back and he enjoys going for walks and can get around in my apartment as well. He loves finding treats in a snuffle ball or snuffle mat! He's good on walks and seems to enjoy meeting new people. He can be a little apprehensive around other dogs, but is mostly indifferent. He can manage going up stairs, but struggles going down. He's potty trained and will often wait by the door if he needs to go out. I'll give him a treat when he comes back in. He hasn't had any accidents for weeks. He really likes to be outside and will often take a few laps around my backyard or lay in the grass. Granite sleeps in a bed beside mine at night. I usually put a few treats in his bed and he'll go right in, where he'll stay until the morning. He does well with handling and seems to enjoy having his ears scratched.

Story
Bean is a wonderful 7 year-old, 17 lb terrier mix. Bean is a classic terrier, with a big personality in a little body! He is energetic and loves hiking, playing with toys, and is very smart. At the end of the day, Bean loves cuddling and making blanket forts. Bean is an intelligent guy. He knows all basic commands, and even knows how to dance on command. He is food motivated, crate trained, potty trained, and learns new things quickly. Even though Bean has plenty of energy, he is pretty low maintenance and does well around an hour of exercise per day. Bean also does well left alone at home. Bean does well with other dogs, and seems indifferent around cats. Bean would do best in a home without children under 12 years old.

Meet Hopper ❤️‍🔥🐾 Hopper is a 5yr old, 11lb, Rat Terrier/mix. Hopper is a super sweet boy. Hopper is an active fella, that likes to go for walks, likes to run and play with toys, and likes to play with other dogs. Even though Hopper has old fractures on his hind legs, that doesn’t slow him down, he is faster than any other dog here at the rescue and loves to run around and play. Hopper gets along with all dogs of all sizes and ages, but likes to chase chickens. Hopper also loves to be held and loved on. Hopper may not know many commands, but that is ok, he is treat and love motivated and will come running as soon as you call him. Love and affection is what he craves. Hopper is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date on his rabies vaccine. If you are interested in meeting Hopper, please fill out an application at www.broketailrescue.org.
