Devon is an apricot creamsicle rat terrier mix who appears to be something of a perfectionist. He’s lovely with dogs and people, house-trained, great on a leash, and full of pep. An inveterate explorer, he seeks both adventure and affection on his travels, and has no problem with the endless comments about his adorable freckles. He does, however, have zero boundaries when it comes to cats, who have zero interest in him. This means a kitty-free forever home for our otherwise admirable chap, who, while not perfect, does have flawless ears on top of everything previously mentioned. Come see! Here's some notes from his foster : Devon is doing really well! His appetite has been normal, taking his meds well, is excited to go on walks & is doing well on the leash, and seems to be potty trained (he hasn’t had any accidents so far and is good about going to the door when he is ready to go out). He is very quiet (hasn’t barked once since I picked him up). He really likes to go on walks, but also really likes to sleep. He is not crate adverse. He slept solidly throughout the night in his crate.

Cute chihuahua Perl has the most phenomenal face – in an effort to be the most comically out of proportion feature, this lovely lady has enormous ears and the tiniest little teeth (they’re truly adorable). She also has an adorable frosting face and sugar dusted paws suggesting that she pranced joyfully through a box of powdered donuts, but we think she was just so sweet that it manifested in her fur color. This little lady is a pint-sized pup so you can take her everywhere you go – in a sling, on a leash, in your arms (her preferred option but she’s not particular). If you’re looking for a senior whose sweetness rivals that of a whole box of chocolates, consider adding a little Perl to your life. Here's some notes from her foster: She waddled right in to the house, greeted the pack, and immediately sniffed out my husband as the likely party who would cater to her desires. Accurately, he has since he has been carrying her around everywhere like the queen she is. She had a spa bath last night and enjoyed relaxing in a fleece hoodie. Perl is Potty trained it seems, she sleeps through the night. She's kid, male friendly, dog friendly- but she is not shy about letting a bigger dog, or in our case a bigger youngster who wants everyone to play, know exactly who is boss. She shows that one snaggle tooth and immediately declares herself. She is enjoying sun bathing and having her first pup cup on the island. She also enjoyed kiddo story time!

Kirby is a gorgeous 6 yo scruffy terrier mix, with the most beautiful amber eyes. He is a happy dog who loves to play with squeaky toys, take walks and relax on the couch with his favorite hoomans. He loves to dig for buried treasure and will let you dress him up in costumes for the different holidays. He is smart, walks great on a leash, is food motivated and eager to please. Kirby would make a great walking companion, but he's just as happy to lay at your feet, amuse himself with a toy or just relax until you are ready to take a break. Kirby is NOT a first time adopter dog. He needs a special and experienced adopter, preferably a female, who is patient and knowledgeable about scared, timid dogs. Kirby is nervous when meeting new people and will require multiple visits with a prospective adopter before being ready to go to a new home. However, once Kirby trusts you he is loving, affectionate and the best company. Kirby is a staff and volunteer favorite. One volunteer has called him the love of your life kind of dog. Kirby would prefer to be the only animal in the family, but we don't think that is too much to ask. He has so much love to give and will thrive in the right home! . Kirby is UTD on vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Applications are being accepted and qualified applicants will be contacted. Half of Kirby's adoption fee is sponsored by a Jelly Place's volunteer.
