A 5-7 year old terrier mix looking for his forever home! Wiley was rescued from a horrific hoarding house/ neglect situation. He and many other dogs were left abandoned in a small trailer home with no food or water and were living in mountains of trash. They nearly starved to death, luckily we were called to the scene and got them out in time. Wiley was one of the few dogs chained up to the outside of the trailer, we were told by people nearby he had been on his chain the majority of his life. Despite this, Wiley is an an absolute sweetheart, and is soaking up every bit of his new life at the rescue. He loves his cozy bed, and tucks himself under his blankets at night. He loves walks and afterwords to snuggle on the couch with his caretakers.  Wiley appears bigger in photos for some reason, he is only about 25 lbs. (small terrier size) He would be totally fine in an apartment or smaller home setting. Wiley would also make a perfect adventure buddy because he's travel sized!April 29, 2024, 11:55 am

Harry and Eleanor?? Such SERIOUS names for a couple of goofy pups! We came from a somewhat sad and seriously MESSED up place but now we may be a little shy but we are definitely NOT SERIOUS :) We are JRT/Rat Terrier mixed siblings, each of us is cute and loving in our own right. Under 15# of absolute adorableness is who we are. We are both still a little nervous, I mean we came from a pretty horrific situation so know that we were not handled and loved on until the last month or so in our foster home... but we are learning so much and having a blast! We are great together but do not have to be adopted together. We will need at least another dog with us to show us the ropes and keep us company in our new family. We are good with everyone so that will be pretty easy :) Look one of us up and ADOPT...DON'T SHOP!!! SO MANY LIVES' DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

My name is Duke and I’m the most handsome guy you’ll ever meet. I am 8 months old, 32lbs. I like the size I am, so I’m pretty sure I’m done growing. I love to play with my foster siblings and haven’t met a dog I don’t like yet. I love to snuggle, I’m such a ham. I am smart and already know tricks like how to sit, lay down and I’m getting the hang of ‘Shake’. I listen very well, my foster mom says that’s because I’m a smart boy. I go to the back door when I need to go outside to do my ‘business’ and am fully potty trained. I’m crate trained and leash trained. I love kids and would love a home with other dogs to play with me. I love cats, but don’t know my own strength, and I play a little too rough for them. My foster moms says she would keep me in a heartbeat, and whoever takes me home is the luckiest family ever. Hi future family. My name is Maggie. I am a 2 year old rat terrier/ dachshund mix. I am the perfect size weighing in around 17 pounds. I must say I have the prettiest eyes and some of the most fabulous ears you will ever see. I am nervous when I first meet people and will need time to know you are safe. But once I am comfortable you will find I am a curious and sweet little girl who very much wants to be by your side. I adore running around in the backyard, so I will need a home with a fence. I also love going for walks and foster mom feels most secure when I’m wearing my harness as I do want to chase squirrels and birds. Also there are just some things I am not sure of yet that are kind of scary and concerning, such as gnome statues and mailbox flags. So I say safety first and let me wear my harness. I have done ok with the other dogs in my foster home, but have been known to not always want to share with them. I would do best in a home with adults and/ or dog savvy older kids. I am not completely perfect with the potty thing, but am getting there and feel confident that I will master this. Maggie is up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm preventative, microchipped, de-wormed and is spayed. Maggie’s adoption fee is $325.00.
