Meet little Minnie! Found abandoned in a motel parking lot, Minnie has definitely been through a lot in life. Estimated 10-12 years, tiny Minnie has the energy of a much younger dog! She loves a long walk, eagerly jumps up on the couch with her foster humans, and can’t resist a delicious treat. Minnie is house trained and does not have accidents in her foster home! She enjoys walking calmly on a leash and walks well with the other small dog in the home. When it comes to cats, Minnie is your girl! She happily lives and shares space with 5 cats in her foster home, even getting in her cozy bed with one sometimes! She does well with other small dogs too. Minnie has basic obedience training, and knows sit, paw, stay, and lay down. Despite being an old dog, she is eager to learn new tricks and her training helps her form deep and meaningful bonds with her foster parents. Given that Minnie is an older lady, we recommend she is adopted to a home with older children (or none at all!). She lives with elementary school aged kids in her foster home, and is very behaved with them, but we think she would appreciate a calmer and quieter environment as she ages! Rio came to us as an owner surrender when his family was losing their home to eviction. He was one of a number of dogs in the home that needed new homes, and we were able to take 3 of them. Rio is a friendly boy who is somewhat timid when he first meets new people or encounters new situations. He warms up quickly! There's no aggression - he's just a little scared at first.\ He loves other dogs and we would like to see him in a home with at least one other dog. He was best friends with a dog in his former home, and seems to love having a canine companion or two. He would be happy to live with children 10 years old or older. Rio is a wonderful boy who will make a great family member!

Adorable Puppy Alert! Say hello to Cricket, an awesome 6 month old little girl who is just 17 pounds! She has a happy and joyful personality and absolutely loves everyone she meets. We think she's a Rat Terrier mix and will likely be 35-40 pounds when she's fully grown. She has a beautiful black coat with the cutest white socks and white markings on her chest. Her Foster Mom has so many great things to say about her...she's smart, curious, loves to play, up for any adventure and is so innocent and trusting. She just wants to be loved and give love. She gets along great with other dogs and is very respectful when she meets them. We think she'd thrive in a suburban setting and would love a doggie sibling but could also be a solo pup in an active lifestyle family. Nikki is a 14 wk nugget, adorable little mixed breed puppy and we think she is so cute we can hardly stand it! She is well socialized, friendly, loves to play with her dog friends, LOVES people, and is just generally a very good time. Hobbies are napping, eating, finding mischief, and stealing kisses! Working on potty training which we haven't gotten on the same page yet. She sleep in the human bed at night & after some pets and belly rubs, she settles down with her neck resting on you. She's pretty confident in herself and sometimes she thinks she's boss. Waiting for her forever home. This puppy Is spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for all of the intestinal parasites, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Because intestinal parasites are cyclical, your puppy may need additional treatment once you get him/her home. This is common and nothing to be alarmed about. Puppies and dogs need to be treated periodically for parasites throughout their entire lives. The adoption fee is $550 if your adoption is prepaid prior to your pup's arrival. When we rescue puppies that have no background info, we make our very best educated guess as to breed mix and age. Our guesstimate comes from years and years and years of animal welfare work and training, but our guesses won't always agree with your vet, your neighbor, your DNA test, etc. The most important thing to know about your puppy's breed mix is that most likely he/she is a Super Lovable Mutt made of many many many different breeds. If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at the Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Moki is a lovable pup! She loves everyone with 2 legs as well as 4. She likes to sit with you on your chair and watch the world go around. Ear scratches and belly rubs are two of her favorite things. She learned the doggie door after just being in foster for a day, so she's pretty smart when it comes to new things. She's also pretty confident and friendly. She is house trained, gets along with cats, and she's generally an easy peasy kinda gal. Moki is looking for her perfect home and if you think it might be you, we'd love to hear from you. Moki is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test.
