MEET REX-POODLE/RAT TERRIER MIX – SENIOR IN URGENT NEED OF A NEW HOME ** He was heading to ACC Shelter December 4th but we were able to take him into foster** Rex has known nothing but a loving home since he was a puppy. He has been a family member since they brought him home as a puppy. Rex’s Mom can no longer care for him, as she is transitioning to a new living situation. Rex is a social, affectionate and loving boy, still active and playful even in his golden years. Rex is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. Rex is approximately 10 years old, a Poodle/Rat Terrier Mix, and weighs 25 pounds. He is a good boy, house broken and happy walking on a leash. He loves peanutbutter, gravy bones and bacon strips, in other words, he loves all treats. Rex can be shy at first, until he gets to know his new surroundings and friends. He has no experience living with children or cats but doing well with his foster families dog. As always, an introduction would be needed. Rio came to us as an owner surrender when his family was losing their home to eviction. He was one of a number of dogs in the home that needed new homes, and we were able to take 3 of them. Rio is a friendly boy who is somewhat timid when he first meets new people or encounters new situations. He warms up quickly! There's no aggression - he's just a little scared at first.\ He loves other dogs and we would like to see him in a home with at least one other dog. He was best friends with a dog in his former home, and seems to love having a canine companion or two. He would be happy to live with children 10 years old or older. Rio is a wonderful boy who will make a great family member!

Moki is a lovable pup! She loves everyone with 2 legs as well as 4. She likes to sit with you on your chair and watch the world go around. Ear scratches and belly rubs are two of her favorite things. She learned the doggie door after just being in foster for a day, so she's pretty smart when it comes to new things. She's also pretty confident and friendly. She is house trained, gets along with cats, and she's generally an easy peasy kinda gal. Moki is looking for her perfect home and if you think it might be you, we'd love to hear from you. Moki is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. She is a quirky dog, typical Jack Russell type, she gets along with other dogs but needs a few days to get to like the new dog as she feels she is queen bee. She is very active, loves running around and playing with toys and other dogs, not really great with cats or small animals, typical rat terrier jack russell. Would do great with other Jacks or Rat Terriers or alone as well but needs time to adjust to new surrounding.
