Buster is a good dog. Very loving and laid back. I am gone to much to care for him like a dog should be cared for. He loves to go outside but also loves to cuddle. He is trained to use the restroom outside, chipped and fixed. He needs a yard that is fenced in. He has not ever worn a collar or walked on a leash, so would have to be trained to do that. He just turned 3. He gets along with other animals. He does not bark often and is not scared of anything. Very friendly.

Little tripod PIERCE has recovered well from his amputation surgery and is ready to find his furever home! Pierce is a sweet, affectionate boy, about 8-10 months old and fully grown at 15 pounds. He spends his days charming his foster family, playing with his toys, playing with his foster siblings and just generally loving life. His 3 favorite times of day are play time, cuddle time and dinner time. Living on 3 legs doesn't slow him down a bit, he runs and plays with his foster siblings like any young dog. Pierce is a handsome mixed breed little guy, our best guess is a MinPin/Rat Terrier type mix. He navigates very well on 3 legs, he wasn't using the leg that was injured months ago and badly healed. Pierce is basicallly perfect, he's housebroken, crate trained and good with cats and other dogs. He would love to find a home with another similar-sized medium energy dog who loves to play. If you'd like to meet Pierce, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Pierce at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. We adopted Sadie from a shelter litter at 8 weeks old and have had her for the last 11 years where she has always had her dog sister in the house. She gets on fine with her sister and out two girls and wants to be in a family where she can get love and attention. Unfortunately, my youngest has medical issues which have restricted our schedule and our home does not allow them to be outside during the day. Sadie is free feed trained, leash trained, house trained, and a loving animal that just needs a family that give her more attention than we can currently provide. She’d be great for an active family where she can join you outside or as a companion dog who will soak up your love and give it back in return. We are really hoping to find a good refining situation as we rescued her with the full intent of keeping her as a member of the family.
