I recently had a baby and have another child under 2 years old. It has become too much for our household to care for a dog as well. Odie is 3 years old and has been fully potty trained. However he started marking territory in our house a few months ago. I suspect he needs to be potty trained again which is too much for our family to take on having 2 small children and another child. Odie is very loving and energetic. He would be a great companion for someone who can give him the time and attention he needs. Only serious applicants please.

Hi, I'm Piñata! I may be young but I have had such an eventful life so far. The vet estimates my age at 3 but my foster family says I act more youthful. I have seen the world as a stray pup and raised 6 of the sweetest Sugar Skulls. Now that they are weaned and doing their own thing I'm ready for my next adventure!! I love toys especially balls. I can throw the ball and entertain myself but I love when someone else throws the ball for me to chase! I am all about spa days where I get pampered with a warm bath and rub down after. I love to travel(a throw back from my backpacking, stray pup days) I will do a little happy dance when it's time for a road trip. The best thing is after a day full of fun? Getting to curling up on the couch with my favorite person and a good movie! I'm a fun loving red head looking for a place to put down roots. Do you need a partner to travel with you? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter. Are you ready to add some fun to your life? HATTIE is here to help. She's a bouncy, playful, sweet little mixed breed girl. Hattie is about 18 months old and fully grown at 30 pounds. Our best guess on breed is some Jack Russell Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog and heaven only knows what else. Hattie has an adorable personality. She's affectionate and outgoing. Hattie is the total package, the only thing she's missing is a tail. We aren't sure where it went but all she has is a little nub. But it's okay, she can still show you how happy she is, tail or no tail! Hattie is best suited to an active home where she will get plenty of exercise. We'd prefer to find her a home with a physically fenced yard. She's great with other dogs and would love to have a playmate. If you'd like to meet Hattie, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Hattie at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm (weather permitting, watch our Facebook page for updates). Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care.
