If I didn't already have 4 dogs, I'd adopt Betsy in a heartbeat! She's 10 years old and weighs 15 pounds. Because of her age and weight, we ask that there be no small children in the home where she lives. Kids don't always know their own strength. A Rat Terrier mix, Betsy's foster describes her as calm and sweet and that she gives off &#194&#147old lady vibes.&#194&#148 She's a friendly girl who loves to roll in the grass! A bit of youth for an older lady! (posted 12/29/25, ME) Lower Fees: Adoption Fee: Adoption fees for Hope dogs, Seniors and those who have been in rescue for prolonged periods of time are reduced to $150.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $100.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. Story
Jack was born in rescue after his mother was surrendered when owner passed away. He and his sister were the only surviving pups. The mother rejected them at 2 weeks, and they were bottle fed until able to eat puppy food. Jack is a good and smart little boy. He has mastered pee pad training and will start learning house training very soon. We do not allow puppies to touch ground until they have received multiple distemper parvo vaccinations. His siter is with a foster to adopt and now it's Jack's turn to find his family. Look into those eyes and tell me he isn't the most handsome little guy. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC.
