Meet Penny! She is a very sweet dog who loves to run and play with her dog friends! She also loves dog toys and will even play ball by herself. She takes a bit to warm up to people. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She just prefers dogs over people. She will need to be in a home with a pack of dogs so she can live her best life! She does well with kids, cats, chickens, and (of course) dogs. She doesn't chase cats or chickens. She is house trained and doesn't chew things up. When first meeting people, she is a little skittish. It is important to let her set the pace. She will need someone with patience who understands that she is more of a pack dog than a people dog.March 10, 2026, 1:06 pm

Story
I adopted Nate as a puppy from the humane society when I was in college. He was just two months old at the time, now 13 years old, and has always lived with me since as his primary owner. Sometime when he was a few years old, he was mistreated by apartment maintenance personnel that changed his temperament towards new people. Although not aggressive, he is skeptical of new faces in his home environment and takes time to warm up to people. He has transitioned to being an outdoor dog, but I can see that it is very hard on him in his old age. I am hoping to find a loving home for him where he can have regular companionship again and comfort.

Jasmine is a one and a half year old black mouth Cur mix. She is extremely loving and friendly. All of her vet records and vaccines are up to date. Veterinary records can be provided. Her breed is characteristically very loyal, intelligent and energetic. She would thrive in a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and playtime. She loves walking on the leash, cuddling on the couch, playing with her toys and thus far has had no house training issues. She has had 2 litters, and has since been spayed. She truly is a sweetheart, and is quick to show her affection. She would be a loving and loyal companion to her new family. Having a fenced backyard with plenty of room to run would be wonderful., I simply underestimated her level of energy and am unable to provide her adequate attention due to personal health issues. No adoption fee, as I simply want her to be in a loving home that will enjoy her loyal and sweet nature.Located in Acworth GA
