Story
Doggy Day Out 3/28/26:Princess was described as shy when I picked her up however I would say she is more reserved but is still friendly. She was ready for pets whenever offered! She was very quiet, no matter the environment we never heard her bark. We passed wildlife, runners, bikes, etc on our hike and she was unfazed. She also heard many noises like leaf blowers, music, etc and was completely unbothered. She was definitely not an explorer and preferred to remain near people even when given a backyard to roam around in. She was very polite and did not jump on the couch until she was given permission. When greeting new people she did not jump but simply sniffed hands and was ready for pets! She did great on a 2 mile strenuous hike and rode well in a car. She did not seem to have familiarity with cars as initially she didn’t know how to get in but she was okay with being picked up gently to get in. By the end of the day she was jumping in no problem! She is a fast learner and already knows some basic commands. She seemed to be both toy and food motivated. She loves playing with toys and loved fetch! She also seemed to love water when she got to play in the hose. As the day went on and she became more comfortable she laid on her back for belly rubs and gave lots of kisses. She is a such a gentle soul and any owner would be lucky to have her. Princess did not interact with kids. A few kids on bikes passed us on our trail and princess expressed no interest or fear around them. She sat and waited until they passed with no reaction.

Beast is a really nice dog , we have 5 kids and they're really sad to separate from him because we have him since he was a puppy . We had an other dog that going to the SPCA on thursday so I know he is good with other dogs . With cat I dont know because we never had one . He had his first shots but need one soon cause he gonna turn 4 . He like to stay outside and he love play with water . We never had any health issue for him and he is very calm and huggy dog . We are in a tough situation because we need to relocate in Washington states , we learn that 2 weeks ago and 90% of the landlord don't accept dogs or unber 25lbs , so we spend time asking around to try to find him a home that will give him love like we did give him but nobody we know is able to take him . please if you are interested send me an email , we leave on the 1 of April so we hope to find him a nice place to stay and be loved . Thanks in advance .

Story
Zeus is very smart and playful, he loves toys and learns routines quickly. Zeus loves to play chase and tug anytime. He is learning his manners well, but he still barks and gets excited easily so he may do best somewhere he has a little space to play on his own. He is very friendly with other people, he wants to play and will go get his toys and attempt to engage you in tug of war. He likes to chase balls but is still learning “drop”. If you have a couple toys to alternate with, he will fetch. He loves belly rubs. Zeus loves his treats but is pretty mellow about mealtimes. He will take food from your hand gently. We give him food 3 times a day and he often eats it slowly throughout the day, he doesn’t gobble food or overeat. When we need to give him pills he will eat a spoon of peanut butter with meds with no problem. Zeus crates well; he will go in there easily if you point inside and often takes naps in there on his own. His foster parents are home a lot so he is a little spoiled with attention, but he is used to being in his crate alone for a few hours at a time. He is both affectionate and sometimes self-sufficient. He likes to be with you or cuddle, and he also seems comfortable napping in the ‘other’ room. We have not tested Zeus with cats but he has a strong chase/hunt instinct and always goes after birds or squirrels. Zeus is sweet but he does get excited and can jump or be a rough player. He is learning not to jump up so much, but he does seem to like standing up on his hind legs. He is also pretty vocal when he is playing

Story
At two and a half months old, Bingo was found alone in a field and scared. It was discovered shortly after that that he had two congenital heart defects. Right now, one compensates for the other. We do not know what this means for Bingo long-term, but he has no idea he is sick and lives life to the fullest. Bingo is a playful young dog that is approximately one year old. Bingo enjoys his dog and human friends. He has no exercise limitations, so we allow Bingo to self-regulate. Although he would not make a good hiking or running companion, he loves running and playing with friends. He has never met a toy that he doesn’t love. He can self-entertain with a ball for a long time. Bingo is crate-trained but can also be left in the house freely without concern for destruction. He loves snuggling on the couch and sleeping on the human’s bed. Bingo has been raised in a home with several dogs and would prefer to live with another doggy resident. Bingo enjoys outings to the park, lake, and patio restaurants. He is a great companion and snuggly buddy!
