Story
Rocky is a Rottweiler Mix, his estimated date of birth is 2/7/12 and he weighs 75 lbs. He is up to date on all of his shots and he is fixed. Rocky is OK with people but is not good with kids, cats, or small dogs. Rocky has a habit of jumping and he has a tendency to try to escape so he would need a home that was very secure. Rocky has food aggression and is very possessive of toys and people. He can sometimes have an over protective drive to certain people.  Rocky can be very vocal and would require a home with a lot of space as Rocky prefers to roam and would become destructive if restricted in a small space. Rocky is not good with new people or places and can be aggressive to other male dogs. He requires regular grooming and requires a special diet. Rocky is afraid of water and can become agitated by running water or large areas of water. He has a habit of dumping out his water dish. Rocky is not good on a leash despite repeated training and still has issues with house training and marking. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in a particular dog please FILL OUT an Adoption Application at our website @ http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt and we can schedule you for an appointment to meet with a particular dog if it is available. We do require an application if you are interested in adoption.  If you are interested in potentially adopting please fill out an application at http://bajadogrescue.org/ready-to-adopt/adopt. Your application will be reviewed and you will be placed on a waiting list for the dog(s). If your name comes up on the waiting list(s) we will contact you. You can see the dogs we have available for adoption on our website at http://bajadogrescue.org/shelter-dogs/ Please check out our FAQ's page at http://bajadogrescue.org/faqs/. Questions? Story
This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Bandit, contact Olivia below.. Bandit is a handsome Rottweiler just a little over a year old, He's big, between 100 and 110 Lbs; but he is a gentle giant who loves people, any and all. Bandit is young and has high energy, so would be good with an active family. He's very curious about the world. He's always up for adventures and exploring new places. He loves going out on weekend restaurant dates, though there can be some work with getting to know smaller dogs. A home with space outside would be ideal as he needs a space to run and play. Training will be needed if he is around livestock. Bandit is an awesome dog and just wants to play as most pups of his age do! Adoption Fee: $300 If Bandit sounds like a good match for your family, please contact Olivia at os.oliviaschneider@gmail.com or (619) 888-6577 Rottweiler Male born 10/20/22 Neutered Shots up to date Future best friend :)

Story
Oliver is a young, energetic, Rottie boy that is sweet and sensitive and great with people. He will need someone who is willing to put time into training but Oliver is receptive and willing, and with that, he will be an amazing canine companion. Oliver is good with other large dogs, we have not had him with small dogs or cats. He will chase livestock so he needs to be a city boy. If he's to be outside unsupervised, his home must have a six foot fence.

Story
Rebar is a beautiful long-coated rottweiler. He is sweet, calm, and easy going. Rebar Is happy to be in the house chilling with his people or playing with his toys. He is purebred and was sold as a puppy but now that he's an adult, he was dumped by the freeway, and ended up on the shelters kill list. The person that bred him had aleady gotten his money and refused to take him back and rehome him as a responsible breeder would do. Rebar has a stocky, muscular build and deserves the respinsible loving home he should have had all along.
